Today, 12 Feb, Im experiencing terrible lag in the game, I am suspecting the fault is at Maple Royals end, with the following test: Restarting router - doesnt fix Run / stream all other services: other games, netflix, youtube - all good I've also tested the latency between 2 games: genshin impact & Maple royals. I am convinced the issue is with the game, not my ISP: Genshin impact is all good, 0 latency, but maple royals is 250 Could we please look into this? We dont know if this will last for days if ignored.
I have another malaysian friend facing this issue too I believe you were in the shoutbox conversation too, and you are aware that im wasn't the only one facing this issue
I am asking cause I remember there were total of 3 players in shoutbox at the time, but there's still only feedback from you currently I have also confirmed with a Malaysian friend using Maxis Wifi and didn't experience any lag - able to join bossing Can you request your friend to chip in on this issue as well?
Hi Dave, I was one of the affected players ytd. Back to normal for me since ytd evening. On good ol Unifi. #BringGobindBack
@sharonxd and myself are both from Malaysia using Unifi and we started lagging really badly since yesterday. Looking for a fix to this issue as well!
same here, Malaysia, ISP: Unifi, was lagging very badly morning yesterday (13 Feb), Slightly better today, but still quite noticeable delay. Obviously something has gone wrong since 13 Feb.
I am facing the same issue. Using unifi and was having massive lag yesterday to the point unplayable. It is better today but there are still weird spike here and there randomly.
For the Malaysia players that are experiencing lag, please download this software and run a test https://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/ IP address for test: 51.68.205.179 This will show where the issue lies within the many 'pipes' between you and the server. Simply download that software, run it, input that IP address, and click start. Allow it to run 100 tests (which you can tell from the 'Sent' column), then take a screenshot of the program and post it here. Reason for running this test: this software will show how many hops/servers your connection has to go through before reaching Royals. Pinging the Royals website directly using CMD isn't accurate as it only shows the overall latency between the user and the website. Spoiler: Test of my network SG ISP -> through Twelve99's servers -> through some internet backbone servers around Quebec, Canada and New Jersey, US -> through London -> Royals server Source of the above test: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/massive-lag-and-dc-post-20-10-2020-patch.176167/page-2#post-1028477
Hi Dave, apologies for the delay in reply. Currently no, looks like it fixed itself, although not sure which side. For the time being, can we keep this post archive? Should the problem happen again, we can continue working from here.
Guess who's back? Back again... Lag is back.... Tell a friend... =.= As of today February 17th, the lag has returned.
@kisuza , I went missing without chipping in evidence cause I literally raged ALT+F4 my PC after finding out even my MSEA client was also laggy, experiencing delay and issues. Came back later that evening and everything was much better.
Malaysian here, i tried redl the client and even switched to my mobile hotspot connection, the lag is still there, i guess it's not our connection problem
Hi guys, yeah same I experienced lag too yesterday (17 Feb) but for today at 12PM GMT+8 18 Feb, the lag seems okay, BUT, it takes forever to login - stuck at login page after clicking "LOGIN" its impossible to relog without restarting the entire client. But after that its slightly better. my test is: I partially censored the IP addresses for security reasons. But @Dave Deviluke dm me if you really need those info.
@Dave Deviluke , LMK too if I should DM you the picture. Totally forgot about the whole hiding your IP address y'all mentioned in Shoutbox last Saturday. =.=
