    Logged into my account this morning at 6:55 am EST ( March 3rd 2021) and found my account has been empty'd of all valuables. I had 6 bcoins, 3b in meso 161 apples, and then as well all of my good equipments including 119att/21str king cent, 13 att facestompers, 12 att blackfist cloak, 3str 7 dex spectrum goggles, 29 dex bathrobe, 15 art scg, and others have been taken as well. Even my nx I have been voting and collecting from bosses most recently was used as well and stolen. Not sure what can be done about this, my last play time was 11 PM EST last night (March 2nd 2021) where my character was in Ellin forest and it is now in Aqua close to pianus when I logged in again at 7am. I do remember what was in my inventory that was taken. Please help! Character name is Pininfarina, Splitfire.

    I'm not entirely sure if anything can be done, as you're saying you've been hacked in March after the accounts that were banned back in the beginning of February were already looked into.
    I'll add your post to the queue we have, but I'm not entirely sure what outcome you'll receive from the Admins. :(

    It looks like you were hacked. When did you last change your password?

    I haven’t changed my password ever unfortunately for my account, I had planned to do it soon after you guys were stressing the need for account security and I never got to it. I know this looks bad but I have been playing for a few years now and really enjoy the server... hoping you guys will be able to do something :(

    Your username and password credentials were most likely in a data leak from another service, and although we have already improved the security of our control panel, the PIN and PIC combinations used for your accounts were easily guessable and took the hacker only a few attempts to crack which allowed them full access to your account.

    As you are aware, we have already done an announcement reminding players to increase their security due to an issue found within our control panel that allowed for bruteforcing to take place. We immediately implemented mitigation against further bruteforcing, and compensated affected players due to an error on our end. However, in your case, bruteforcing wasn't required to gain access to your account. This therefore makes it difficult for us to accept responsibility for the breach that occurred on your account, and unless any further information arises that leads us to believe there is still an issue on our side, unfortunately I can't see us offering any form of compensation the breach that took place on your account.

    I don’t see my account information being leaked from another service, as I use a different password and user name for my account here than anything else. It isn’t my fault if the information was obtained by a leak of information. Is there no way to roll my account back to a point where I had all of my items? You have already confirmed that I was hacked and stolen from due to details being leaked. I understand that my account details may have been easier than most but with that being said I did not give out my information to anyone and as well this is not a normal occurrence. I believe ‘bruteforcing’ is sitting and trying combinations of different numbers to get through the password system and that is obviously what happened here. With that being said I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for my account to be rolled back to a point when I had all the items and put in place a new password/pin/pic for my account. I really enjoy playing on this server and have put many hours into establishing my character here, and would love to continue to progress here. Hopefully you guys can find it to help me out in a bad situation. Thank you.

    No, it's not your fault if your information was obtained by a leak however it is good practice is to change your password regularly as well as ensuring your password is strong. You may believe that it was bruteforcing that occurred here, but we can see from the control panel logs that the IP which accessed your account only had a few attempts at entering your PIN/PIC combination before they were able to gain access, and this can hardly be classed as bruteforcing. Changing your password when advised to, and ensuring your PIN and PIC are secure would have prevented this from occurring.

    I will not argue your point, however it is still through no fault of my own that this occurred. I am asking, pleading if you will, for your help to hopefully restore the account to the time stamp I originally posted. I have put hundreds of hours into this server and had obviously established a decent worth in game. I always try to help new players in game with ‘starter packs’ when I have the opportunity to and I try my best to do good for the in game community. I am asking you this one time to please help me out in a very bad situation, it would mean a lot. This game provides some joy when the outside world gets to much, and sadly some poor wretch hacker has taken that from me and stripped my main character. Please find it to help me out.
