Hey, I've been playing a Buccaneer for a while now and I'm feeling like SI skill animation is very hard to see on other party members mostly at bosses where there's lots of effects and things happening in the background, sometimes this leads to me not buffing my teammates and it can be annoying. Example: (even on a clean map its kinda hard to notice) https://gyazo.com/0d58e77f9b34c46d1f56da5caebb04f2 Was thinking that it would be nice QoL change to make SI buff effect more noticeable on other characters, maybe make the effect bigger or more colorful, would love to see if you guys can improve that effect somehow, but either way I'm just glad you're reading this. Make si as large as genesis dude you can always check your si buff on your top right corner. Try not to use in-game macro and put your si on a single key if it might help. btw do not waste staff’s time auto ban has to come out asap
Checking their own buff doesn't help them know if all their party members got it in a boss run though. I agree that HS, and SE are much easier to see if it hit everyone in your party when buffing it compared to SI. Just because they are suggesting it now, doesn't mean it needs to be a high priority focus. It would be a nice QoL improvement.
Firstly, There is actually not much targets you need to buff SI. Usually 1-2 targets in the party. You only need to focus on Warriors, MM , Sair and F/P with Explosion maybe. You only need to know where they stand and we’re they are. Buff them simple and easy. NLs /BM/Shad don’t care about your SI. Secondly, you can always test your SI range in FM or somewhere else. Just party with your own mules or friends and buff them in a distance. Checking SI range yourself won’t be too difficult if needed. Thirdly, if you missed SI. Your party member will always say “SI”. Just take few more seconds and buff them won’t be too hard.
