Character Name: Economy, Mercury, HTSlayer, 2006 Last thing you did: I've been mainly scrolling and resetting my shops in the free market. Why do you think you got banned?: 1. There's a chance I said something against TOS unintentionally (a joke spoke too soon without thinking about it twice), 2. Advertisements for my price guide on my hired merchants. I already got the approval of several GM, so I'm hoping it's not this since I didn't spam the server. 3. Having a lot of items in my inventory but I have an explanation. I'm a merchant and browse the entire market almost 3x daily. I also have a buying thread in which I get PMs daily from players. I run 6 shops and profit from 300m~2b daily. There's also a drastic change in my meso net-worth due to getting lucky a few times with chaos. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/❆-economy-❆-need-mesos-quick-exchange-your-items-for-mesos-☚.152682/#post-910689 Ban message when attempting to log in: This ID has been deleted or blocked from the connection. What GM banned you (optional): Not sure.
I've decided to revisit my case after seeing what I think is similar to mine, where the person was vindicated. After my ban, the amount of pressure to appeal was overwhelming. Friends and Royal players constantly ask me if I bot via PMs. I felt my reputation was ruined due to being banned, so I decided to focus on my life and career and let the game go, although I enjoyed playing and being a part of the community. Time has passed, and events like the COVID-19 pandemic have happened that put a further pause on me revisiting my appeal. Initially, when I appealed, there were claims that I botted, but I have no clue what information you guys go off to determine this. I'm not aware of how botting or hacking any kind works, so it's difficult to plead my case against it. Maybe if more information is provided to me about what happened to cause my ban, I can contribute more to getting to the bottom of this with you. I was researching similar cases, and in the case, I came across, I could relate to this situation entirely. I bought vast amounts of bulk scrolls and did many scrolling and merching during my time on royals. I hope I never accidentally purchased from a questionable person or shop or something, but if I did, it was unknowingly, which is why I'm confused about my current situation. I ask that you review my merching logs from before I got banned. I'm assured that you will find that the numbers add up and that I'm innocent of the accusations. I wish to return to the community and enjoy the game. Please let me know if there’s anything needed on my end that I can provide or do to assist. I'll try my best although some time has passed. Thanks in advance.
your ban isnt similar the one you linked. you're banned for having characters that you botted on and were caught with, not for purchasing or selling scrolls.
Tim, thank you for re-opening my case. To be honest, I'm not sure what I was doing to be considered botting or how botting works. I have two Royals account, both with a similar login ID using the same PIC/Password created after a # in numerical order. My main is Economy, and I spent my entire time on Royals on this character unless I have to reset my hired merchants on HTSlayer, Mercury, or 2006. I also have other names that I used for my hired merchants not listed on this appeal: FMLegend, killed (could be ii, iL, or Li), Repiace. I farmed rarely, maybe at Ulu and I bought leech a few times, but it wouldn't have been easy for me to multitask in-game to do much else. My laptop could barely run two clients without lagging and dealing with overheating issues. This has to be a case of mistaken identity or something. I've seen other people get banned over similar IGNs revealed to not be theirs in the end. Did the activity come from my IP address and my device?
Hi Tim, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to address my case and clarify the reason behind my delayed response. Your previous statement, "yes it did," left me speechless. I felt like there was no possible way for me to convince you that I didn't engage in botting activities. However, I am determined to prove my innocence and hopefully, continue playing the game. During my time in the game, I primarily played as a merchant and dedicated a significant amount of effort in the FM. My main character, "Economy," stands as the only character surpassing level 120. I genuinely enjoyed my role as a merchant, constantly browsing the FM for items at low prices for resale in the market. I had people who farmed and supplied me with items, which I purchased with mesos that I’ve obtained from the FM. Occasionally, I made substantial purchases of items in large quantities. If anything, my time was predominantly spent in the FM rather than engaging in farming or boss battles. I’m asking for your guidance on how I can demonstrate my innocence and prove that I did not employ a bot in any way. I am not prepared to close this matter, as I am certain that I did not participate in botting activities. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.
