Hello Admins! I tried to sign in but it keeps saying i can't sign in due to a server check or firewall block? I was signed in fine before tho... please help! I would greatly appreciate it. I had that message pop up before and I could just log in fine but now it won't let me. Also I'm using a mac right now and fairly new to it too so I don't know about the settings and stuff...not much of a computer person
OOH I think everything is good now! I signed back in after an hour and it allowed me back on ^^ I just panicked because it wasn't letting me on before >_< Thank you
Susiiee, what happened before was a server freeze and reset. If you get that message in the future, try reading the shoutbox. It will usually be quite active and people will be talking about the server being down and when it can be expected to come back up.
Typically when that happens it means you're trying to relog too quickly. Wait a few seconds and try again. If that doesn't work, log in to the main site (not the forums) and use the Character fix button. At this exact moment however, the server is actually frozen, so you'll need to wait for an admin to get on and reset it (which will result in that black screen and server check message you got earlier) before you can log in and play.
