Error when attempting to run setup and client

I get the message when I open the setup "A later version of Mapleroyals is already installed on this machine. The setup cannot continue."

I've deleted the previous folder for Royals, so I'm kind of stuck.
What do I do?

I'm running into a second problem

I can't get on the server from the client, I don't get an error message, it just shows that it's loading for a split second then goes away.
It's not running on task manager or anything. Do you have any recommendation on what might be happening?

 

Have you restarted you computer? If not try that. Other than that if no error message and if you have a good internet connection try reinstalling it

Hmmmm interesting and it just happened after this patch?

 

I know you probably wont like ths but try uninstalling from control panel restarting your computer and then doing a fresh install. Maybe some files got corrupt on the new install.

 

Oh and also what operating system are you currently running ?

 

Windows 7

I got it to work, but it required using an old version of the client from the halloween event...
