IGN: KatGang Problem: Upon starting up my character to play, I am unable to load up the map I am stuck on and am immediately disconnected from the game, essentially rendering my character useless. Keep in mind that I'm not receiving a "unable to log in" message, the game TRIES to load my character but disconnects. Explanation: Why this is happening is because I had received a notification yesterday evening for starting up the Egg PQ, and since I hadn't done it yet before I figured I would run to Boat Quay Town to speak to the Angry Bunny NPC and attempt to do it. After speaking to the NPC and being sent to the lobby map, I haven't been able to log in properly with my character since. Any advice or direct admin help (such as moving my character to a different map or something) would be greatly appreciated. -LuckyKatz
Yes, I am still having this issue. I am pretty sure I am using the latest game files, which would be the ones from April 8, 2021.
No, it's just my i/l mage 'KatGang' that is facing this problem. All the other characters on my account appear to be playable and are working just fine.
Have confirmed with fellow Staff that GMs are unable to shift offline character's location Will be forwarding your info to the Admins for investigation Edit: the investigation will be done at a Server Check In the meantime, please try to do a clean install to see if it will resolve the issue Uninstall > restart PC > re-install
Not exactly sure why you are disconnecting if your files are up to date, as your character was supposedly in the Egg PQ Exit map. I would suggest trying to reinstall the game just to be sure. I've attempted to move your character to Boat Quay Town now, although this may not have worked if you have logged in recently, but feel free to try and see if it did. If it did not work, I'll need you to stay logged off for 30 minutes for me to try again.
Hey, guys! My character is back at Boat Quay Town and functional again. I'm still not entirely sure why exactly that was happening to my character, but the issue has been resolved.
