Hi everyone! This is my first post, so any constructive feedback is welcomed. I was wondering if we could implement a requirement for guilds to do GPQ to verify there are still active members playing the game. This is to provide an incentive for players to play the game and also for new players to reboot/claim guilds are that inactive. GMS did this for inactive players where their account will be deleted if they are inactive for a certain period, but i think that's abit excessive. Maybe the guild validity can be a required GPQ run once a month of something? otherwise the guild will be disbanded. Honestly, in my personal opinion, it shouldn't be that hard to play once a month. If by bad luck they missed validity date, maybe pay a fine to ensure guild stays alive (within x days). This could possibly encourage older players to come back or if not, nice guild names are up for grabs A revamped of the GPQ rewards(?) could also be implemented but i'm not too familiar with it to give input. TLDR; bolded.
I think it's great to discuss ideas that would attract old players to pick up the game again but since we don't require them to actively play in to maintain their IGNs I don't see why Guilds should be any different. Consider adding a poll to your post to gauge more community opinions
I feel like theres no real point of doing gpq other than ninja storm 30 and for ranking bragging rights but if gpq gets a buff then maybe more ppl will do gpq
Here is a fun thread for that https://royals.ms/forum/threads/gpq-rewards.174772/ disagree with the op about the battle to keep a guild monthly, or verify activity. that's not an "incentive", it makes it mandatory. GPQ just needs some freshness. It would benefit a lot from randomization (stage randomization, flipped maps, remove stage one lol I hate it) and more interesting and fun rewards (like custom nx, medals, labels/chat rings, mounts, chairs) and possibly a harder optional ergoth battle if triggered. As well as ways to use GP non-competitively for guild related things, like guild expansion tickets, or guild smegas that have your guild name and emblem next to them
