Hero and Bucc

Hello.
Have 16x hero, used long time ago, so im not up-to-date, with ok gear and good weapon, but thinking about making bucc. I guess hero will be better at zakum/ht/cwkpq, but what about other bosses and how would you rate bucc? Thanks

Also heros are better on shao but rest of the bosses Bucc better

 

That’s not true as a Bucc can bypass the clones.
Buccs can even Solo shao once you reach around 14k range on any attack pot.

 

Regardless between those two classes Bucc is a lot better in the overall MR meta

 

Hero can hit 3 parts at HT making 13.5% more faster if well funded

TL'DR & in my own opinion.

• Hero is great if you need to hit multiple targets during a boss run.
• Bucc is great if you are 1:1 boss target. At Level 200, party buff is more superior imo since you can Timeleap your own Echo and Res during boss runs that have a higher chance of a character dying.

Zakum

• Being able to hit multiple Zak arms and being able to cancel wep deff on arms is Hero's strongest role. Bucc's dragon strike is better at clearing mobs during body 1/2/3 due to strike range and number of targets it can hit (6). Hero's 3rd job Roar still can hit (6), but cast duration is slightly longer than dragon strike animation.

Krex

• Bucc is superior since it's 1:1 boss target

CWKPQ

• Both hero + bucc are great here, but the Hero plays more of a critical role in being able to multi-target bosses at the bottom.

Shao

• Main difference from a bucc is being able to clear clones+main boss for extra exp / monster cards.
• Bucc is superior in being able to clear the main boss faster, since it's skills ignore clones.

Horntail

• Dann mentioned this, but a hero is able to hit HT arms/wings/head at the same time, but when a hero has to 1:1 a head/prehead, it's not as great as a bucc. I think someone mentioned somewhere that a bucc could try snatch or dragon strike to hit arms/wings/head, but unsure if this is optimal yet...
• I think dragon strike is also more effective at clearing dark wyrns verses hero.

Toad

• Bucc and hero are pretty much the same here, except you take less damage overall due to bucc's iframes.

Neo Tokyo / Auf

• Overall Bucc is superior since you are mainly 1:1 boss targets with your party or solo.

Pinkbean soonTM~

• We'll SEEEE, but most likely bucc since TimeLeap/iFrames is OP

Bucc is more popular among most bosses.

But why not play together?This will make your solo boss much easier.
