Closed "The Welcoming Ritual" questline stuck

I'm doing quests for the medal. Coming to Floating Market I had accepted some quests there in the past, but I was missing one of the items for the questline "The Welcoming ritual" (Namely the "Strange Flower"). Since I couldn't hand in the quest, I forfeited it and threw out the remaining quest items ("Banana Leaf", "Sack of Rice", and "Silk Thread") as well thinking I could start over. The quest did not appear under the "Available" tab though. Instead, it remains under "In Progress" only now it's completely blank, see attached image.

Is there anything to do about this issue?

Update: I could receive the quest from Jit again, so now I'm back to simply lacking the items. See attached image.

 

You can't forfeit questlines in this version of MapleStory. You can forfeit the quest you are currently on, but the questline itself will remain.

 

Thanks for the answer! It seems like I can't really forfeit the quest I am currently on either though, referring to the image in the original post.
Would it be possible to somehow get back the quest items lost?

To be clear, I can now alternate between the status of the two images uploaded.
