Hi, downloaded the game today because I wanted some maplestory nostalgia, but the game won't even run? Not sure what i am doing wrong, but downloaded newest version from the website, then installed normally, but when I try to run the application, a popup appears and immediately closes, not even allowing me time to see what the error is. Also, I search where i put the game files, and all but the .exe file is still present. The .exe file has just deleted itself or something happened to it. So I am now stuck. Not sure if there is any way for me to remedy this? Hopefully I get a solution. Thanks, redfyre
Disable your antivirus or Windows Defender temporarily and reinstall Royals again. Make sure to put MapleRoyals folder on the exception list on your antivirus or Windows Defender because your antivirus think Royals.exe a virus, which is a false positive, thus leading the exe file to be deleted.
Hi can show me how does putting maple royals folder into exception list procedure works. I unsure of how it does. How it put into windows defender. Images and steps of the process will do. Thank you!
Here are the steps to add an exception to Windows Security (if you are on Windows 10) : - Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection. - Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions. - Select Add an exclusion, and then select from files, folders, file types, or process. The exclusion will apply to subfolders within a folder as well.
In it cannot find the virus & threat protections. I searched already it still appears in the windows security page

I am able to open the windows security but unable to find the virus & threat protection. It is like don't have it. My laptop is windows 10 verison. Windows 10 guide the page not the same as mine. Cannot find too.
