Hi maple community i wanted to suggest the idea of introducing the Transgender Medal, maple royals has more than 8 years and i think it would be time to toss a bone to the lgbt community, a gender change option would allow for crossgendered individuals to adjust, and whomever changes gender would get the Transgender Medal, a cool, rainbow like medal that also shows on the medal tab, wouldn't that be cool?, that would make this server the most inclusive, the most accepting of the lgbt community of maplers out there, please consider it game masters, i appreciate any help, thank you

I just make male character and there is some nx hair and clothes that is gender fluid and i get called trap everywhere i go. Feels cute af still.

Everyone doesn't need to know your business to be "included in a community". The whole LGBT/Pride Month stuff for "inclusion" and appeal is an artificially boosted agenda (major backers being nefarious groups) and the normies who don't realize it shouldn't be forcing this agenda onto anyone else. Do we need a Black Lives Matter medal so that Black people can "feel included in the community"? Let Royals just stay neutral as it should be and not virtue signal for "groups".
yeah, but that only applies for male characters, they are the ones that have it easy to be gender fluid with the clothes and hairs, but in the case of female characters it is impossible to make them look male, it almost seems as if the male characters were the ones that get to have the best hairs in the game, and the female characters get put in a corner, there is a solution to this, which is to release punk styled hairs for females, but unfortunately they don't exist in any maple version released, so they would have to be created, and that is a lot more work than to just implement a basic gender change, it would be a good thing for the server (draw more players to the server, donations wise, etc) and it would be in tune to our modern times
Being trans or asking for such a thing isn't political, the way you negatively weaponize it as a political fulcrum is though. You are the one doing that. Asking for such a harmless suggestion for inclusion for a group of people that affects you in no way is neither political nor something you have any business telling others to keep private or to themselves.
I'd prefer "Mapler with Pride" or something like that, given at the first day of Pride Month if we want to "throw a bone" to the LGBT community, it is more inclusive instead of just including one group only and some people who wanted gender change in Royals might not be in the LGBT community anyway, so... And if gender change is not possible at the moment (balancing issue mostly), why not just make all the hair and NX unisex instead? Remove gender restrictions on hairs, faces, outfits and everyone will be happy, heck, might open up an even broader character customizations while at it.
What makes people's orientation and sexuality an "USA problems and politics"? Do gays and lesbians does not exist anywhere outside America? Why does it bother you guys so much that those people wanted to feel like they are included in a community too? I don't want to derail this thread and have it locked for good, but god. So much for you guys wanting Royals to have a "wel-fucking-coming community".
Keep telling yourself that when people are actually smegaing about USA presidency, anti-China/Free Hong Kong stance, the whole debacle about Israel/Palestine in Royals sometimes. Surely there is no agenda pushing over there, but when its about whats between people's pant and whatsoever, suddenly it's a problematic issues? Anyway, I'm already enjoying the game the way it is, and if people wanted their opinions to be heard, let them be and if you are so against it that you think it will be the end of Royals, you are the one who needs to get your head out here.
Feel like a medal would look a bit goofy, and might be awkward to implement seeing how medals are required to have balanced stat boosts. Think a better and more fun idea would be to have NX Pride Flag weapons (like the other flag-type weapons the game already has) or Pride Flag face paints: more aesthetically subtle and pleasing.
I agree that thinking a medal will promote "inclusion" is an odd argument in the neutral scene that is MapleRoyals. Talking about any subset of people needing (to be/feel) included would imply they are not included, which is the wrong take in my opinion. In addition, with how medals are displayed and used for their stats, this kind of medal (along with many others currently) would be rarely worn.
