Closed Ban appeal

Hi,

This morning when I tried to log in to game I recieved a message that I got banned at my login screen.
I have no idea what has caused this ban. I would like to see my account get unbanned asap please.

All Your Character Names: Account 1: Fake, maanzaad Account 2: oerkreet Account 3 InceptionTV
Last thing you did: Last night I logged in to set up my store.
Why do you think you got banned?: I think I got banned for abusing the vote button. My 2 brothers play on this same IP adress. I just found out you need to add your accounts to a white list. Didn't know about this.
Ban message when attempting to log in: Your account has been blocked for using illegal programs or violation the game policy.
What GM banned you (optional): -

I think that the multiple voting on different accounts has caused this ban. I wasn't aware of this and I would like to add my names to the white list to not make this mistake again.
Since I got banned for 1 month, I would like to kindly ask the GM's to let this mistake slide. I just found out you that I had to put my name on some whitelist? I had no clue to be honest.

You are temporarily banned for account sharing.

Spoiler: Major Infractions

Punishment: Permanent ban.
Account Sharing - The act of sharing the use of your account, sharing account information with any other individual, or the act of logging into or otherwise using an account owned by another person, with or without permission, regardless of whether or not the information was directly or indirectly shared. Please be aware that, in some cases as per the discretion of Staff, we reserve the right to respond with less harsh punishment. See Appendix for more information.

Appendix: This rule was altered in October of 2014 to respond to the growing number of people abusing the ability to share accounts for a variety of purposes that we deemed unacceptable. Eight scenarios for which account sharing will be considered an immediate permanent ban are the following:

1. Using power-leveling services;
2. Two or more people taking turns in leveling up a character (i.e. training);
3. Logging onto someone else's character in order to leech your own;
4. Removing items from or deleting someone else's character;
5. Giving an account with a high-leveled character on it to someone else;
6. Committing a bannable offense (other than just account sharing) on someone else's account;
7. Wasting Staff time by lying about the account sharing;
8. Sharing your account details with multiple people.

In any other situations, the default punishment will be a 30-day ban and potentially a reversal of actions taken during the share, however, this is still subject to Staff discretion and the involved parties may face a permanent ban regardless of their situation not being listed above. Finally, the use of the same account information as other locations such as your personal social media or any other game servers does not violate this rule, however, any individuals who access your account on the basis of knowledge of account information in other places does. You are responsible for the privacy of your own account information.

I thought I couldn't reply to this thread anymore since it said ''Closed''. You can delete my second thread too if you want to.

I have never shared my account or what so ever. If the GM's think that I did then I would like to hear/see why the GM's think I did that.
Instead of just saying that my account is banned, maybe an explanation would be in place.

Since I have never shared my account with anyone, I would like to see my account get unbanned right away.

Just to clear things up; you banned my account for account sharing, and when I ask for evidence you cannot disclose the evidence?
I am beginning to wonder if there even is an evidence, no offence.

I never shared my account and I am pretty sure of it. If I have ever shared my account the GM's should provide evidence of this matter.

Since my account got banned for NO REASON (lack of evidence in my eyes) I would like to see my account unbanned right away. If the GM's have evidence of me a sharing multiple accounts, I would like to see this. If someone reported me for account sharing, I would like to see this too.

If the GM's cannot provide this kind of evidence, the GM's are just randomly banning accounts on MapleRoyals through ''hearsay''. Since it is ''hearsay'' it is unfair to ban an account for that.

Yes, You are temporarily banned for account sharing. No, the evidence that resulted in your ban won't be disclosed to you or any other player that requests them.

The evidence was reviewed by an admin before the ban was issued and he decided that it warrants a temporary ban instead of a permanent one. Your ban won't be lifted prematurely.

I reckon that your time will be better spent applying to our white list (since you are not the only player in your household) and going over our game terms and conditions.

I understand that my account won't be recoverd for a month. You made that very clear with no evidence.

Isn't it smart to let people know what they did wrong so they can learn from this mistake and never have a situation like this again? That is why you provide some evidence mainly.
I appreciate that my account is banned for 1 month and not forever. But I would like to see what I did wrong so I can learn from this mistake.

Reasons people get banned for account sharing (copied from ToS);

1. Using power-levelling services; (Never did this)

3. Logging onto someone else's character in order to leech your own; ( I launched multiple clients, but never did this.)
4. Removing items from or deleting someone else's character; ( I never did this)
5. Giving an account with a high-levelled character on it to someone else; (I never did this, my account was restored from hacking)
6. Committing a bannable offence (other than just account sharing) on someone else's account; ( I launched multiple clients, but never did this.)
7. Wasting Staff time by lying about the account sharing; ( I never did this)
8. Sharing your account details with multiple people. ( I launched multiple clients, but never did this.)

Since I claim that I have never violated some rules of the above, I would like to see what I did wrong.

I am already focussing on the Whitelist acceptance, but I want to learn from my mistakes so I won't ever have to make a post like this again.
That is why I am asking for evidence so I can learn from my mistakes. I hope you can understand that.

If you genuinely want to learn from your mistake, don't let anyone who isn't you play on your accounts.

Like I said before; '' I never shared my account with someone''. So the reply you just gave me is kind of rude and weird.

I recieved my account back from being hacked 2 +- months ago. Maybe it has something to do with that?
The IGN ''Fake'' was randomly added to my account when I got it back. The main character name was Maanzaad.

Sorry for being so persistent, but I am really trying to figure out what I did wrong. I traced back all the steps I did in the last 2 months, but I cant see any situation where I did some kind of account sharing?
Maybe if you could provide me with a date I shared my account? Maybe that would clear up alot. I really cannot see what I did wrong at this moment.

I can confirm that your account being hacked has nothing to do with the evidence at hand.

I don't mind you being persistent. I would likely react the same way if I believed that my account was wrongfully banned. However, I won't be answering any questions related to the evidence that resulted in your ban.

How is this topic (ban appeal) even alive if you won't answer any of my questions related to the evidence? Isn't this an ''appeal''?

It is nice to hear you have that kind of empathy! I've got an example for you which is confusing me;

1. Someone get's killed IRL
2. Marten get's arrested for it
3. Marten wants evidence that he did this (cause Marten know he didnt do this)
4. the police officer will not provide that kind of evidence to make the case
5. Marten is mad because he is wrongfully accused of murder.
6. Marten is thrown in jail for a month

Isn't the above situation weird? It is right?

I feel that I am wrongfully accused. I want to defend myself and make my case.
I have looked at other ban appeals and have seen that the GM Tim gives out dates which the account sharing has happend on.

I hope you understand my concern and I would like to have a date on which my account was shared. If the GM's of MapleRoyals cannot provide
a date which my account was shared on, then I start to doubt how this is even an legitimate claim if you can't back it up.
