Closed Unable to access website.

I've read about people having this problem before, I can get onto the website via mobile phone, and right now I'm using a proxy. I don't think I've been IP banned as there's no reason for it, but it's been roughly a week since this problem started.

 

We can't help you if you're using a proxy as there is no issues with people using direct connections. We do not offer support for people behind a proxy.

 

I don't need support regarding a proxy, I'm only using a proxy because I can't access your website normally. There's clearly something wrong if I haven't been IP banned (or maybe I have, if there's a way to find out I'm not sure what it is), and I'm not the first person to have this problem. I remember you making another comment that was less than helpful to another person in need of assistance.

 

Thanks Matt, I tried it but it didn't do anything. Also, when I tried to log in to the forum on my phone it said I was banned for Ddosing, which obviously I'm not doing, I'm trying to play the game. So using the proxy to get on is my only option.

 

Can you show a screenshot? Because we don't show ban reasons on our website, only in game.

 

Unfortunately I can't upload anything because for whatever reason this flimsy proxy won't allow it, and the only time I can get the DDos message is on my phone, and I can't upload from there because I can't log out on the phone to access the forum account I'm using currently. The forum account I get the Ddos message on is different from this one.

 

What's the name of that forum account?

 

Ivvabiggin, which is my main account name, to be honest I'm not entirely sure how I ended up changing or making a new forum account as all I did was change to email connected to it.

 

In a nutshell, you've been blocked for a sizeable TCP flood on our server. Your IP address has also been blocked by our host.

One question, however: can you remember when you last updated your game files or downloaded the game?

 

Oh I see. Yes actually I used the mapleroyals updater 3 times about 2 weeks ago. It kept saying I had out of date files, so I figured I needed to update them.

 

Ahhh now I understand why it's accusing me of Ddos attacks.

 

We don't have any official updaters released - could you tell us where you got an updater for our server, please?

Um actually I still can't access the website without this proxy. I'm not sure if there's something I need to do or if there's another problem.

 

So It's been a while since a reply, and now I'm not the only one right now with this problem.
