FAQ: Example Chaos Scroll & Item Insurance: - Player 1: Why the hell would I pay you 200mil to get my chaos scroll insured. - Insurance Agent: Because if your scroll fails you will get 5% of what you paid for in insurance and a free chaos scroll. - Player 1: Wtf. - Insurance Agent: This also works with equipments. Is there any profit for you doing this business? Yes and no, my hopes are just as good as yours and if you pass, we're all happy. However, if you fail, then we both lose and move on with our life. So basically, getting insurance is a good thing? Yes. Do you have to funds to reimburse up to 3b of damages?
Insure a chaos scroll for 200m. Fail a 10% scroll in front of you. Get back a free chaos scroll. I'm down.
There's too many flaws, screenshots can be edited, the item can be moved before another ss is taken so the item isn't in the sc, too many faults for this to be plausible, unless you have the support of a GM.
I updated the Terms of Conditions to ensure that the screenshots are legitimate. If someone were to edit them or if the screenshots do not provide enough evidence, then they will not receive reimbursement. Of course there always may be a flaw, but for the most part, I will be dealing with well-known players.
Sadly, I must say that's not enough. If you're just dealing with your great friends, then anything will go, but including all possible inventory slots will not work without the "expand" button, which isn't available in v62, as I have said before, the item can be shifted around before taking another screenshot. Also, having 5-10minutes to edit and upload is plenty of time. @Plenty pun
Ah, well I guess I'll see what happens. If I fucked up then it's on me. Thanks for the pre-caution, if this business doesn't work out then I'll go back to scrolling.
Do keep in mind that staff won't get involved in things like this- we wont act as a mediator between you and your potential "buyer". It'd have to fall completely on you and how much you trust the other person.
