    Design A Banner Event​

    Hi Everyone,

    MapleRoyals requires a banner designed up be used with the voting sites such as gtop100. It could also be used for advertising elsewhere. Due to this I am hosting an event to design a banner. The winner will received a pretty awesome prize. There will be only one winner I'm afraid. The winner will be chosen by the GM staff. Event ends 22/05/2013.

    Image Requirements

    I will require the banner in two sizes. A .jpg and .png file would be appreciated.

    Banner for general advertising
    Banner Width: 728px
    Banner Height: 90px

    Banner for voting sites
    Banner Width: 468px
    Banner Height: 60px

    I would like it to include the the MapleRoyals v0.62 logo like at the top of our website and forum but feel free to spice it up adding MapleStory characters, Images from the game, extra information about our server (10x exp 5x meso 5x drop) etc.

    that paint brush and palette is genius!

    the best i could draw for a banner is stick men, i wont be entering this :(

    The programs that does graphics and stuff i know its 2d design or Macromedia Freehand. They both are kinda fussy to master but its fun if you get it right tho ;]. i think you can download the free trail on both but its worth a try.

    I got the Monsters/Character from bannedstory (maple-simulator) and did the fonts and such in photo shop.

    So, here's my contribution. I know the background is a little dull but I found it disturbing when adding grass etc. I can also upload the .PSD if you want to make corrections to text, colors etc.

    Looks nice, I like the blue colour. I think if you can make the rates slightly bigger if possible? I don't know if you want to use the same font like what is in the logo at the top of the forum as well? http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Aller

    I don't know if you like it but here's one with all the text changed to Aller:

    Also made rates bigger.
    On the smaller banner it's only possible to increase the text size for rates if I remove the "1000x fun" text :p

    Tell me which one you like best and i'll upload all sizes/formats.

    Hmmmm yes, maybe you are right. The main font might look better as it was. But I do think on the smaller one if you do it without the x1000 fun bit would be great.
