I made a second account only to help myself lvling and with trading stuff over a while ago. After not being on this account for a while, I decided to log back into it today to lvl the character I made on it. But I can't login on my second account without getting the error "This is not a registered ID". I'm sure that I created an ingame account with this ID so I'm finding it strange that it's not getting recognized. This account won't be used to vote on it at all. Hopefully a GM could take a look at this issue.
Check to see if it exists by logging in on the homepage to the user control panel. Please Do Not post your username/ID on the forums. @Levtrix
I tried logging in on the homepage but it gives me the error that my username or password isn't correct. Which is strange since I'm 100% sure it should be that username. I even tried using all the passwords I use/used in the past. Weird thing is that I could make an account with that username but with a different e-mail adres than that I previously used. (When I first created that account I already used a different e-mail adres than my main accounts) Sadly the name is somehow taken (I'm sure I made a character with that name). Oh well I'll just pick a different name.
What's the character name? When you post it, please tag Katsuruka in your post by using the @ symbol.
If you made the character on the new account, there is obviously no record of the old account so I am not really sure what we can do. And please, DO NOT tag certain staff members. It only clutters our notification center when we're busy enough as is. Kat is not the only staff member who can help you, there are plenty others who can read and respond to this as well.
I apologize for tagging a staff member and I will make sure not to do that again. I did make a character on the new account but not with the name WhyNoHS because I get the popup that it's already in use. It's okay if you're not able to do anything in this case. I'll just continue with the new one I made.
I found out what's going on here. I thought that WhyNoHS was a character on an account with a different username. Thus giving the error that this is not a registered id. Due to what you just said John I managed to log back into the character with the name WhyNoHS. In the end I actually mistook the username for a different one. Sorry for any trouble I might have caused and thanks a lot for the help. This thread can be closed now since the issue has been resolved.
Sorry about the tagging. I thought maybe only database admins would be able to help here.. And I believe he said that he made a new account and saw that the username he used previously was taken (meaning the original account exists).
And I regained access to the original account where WhyNoHS is on Oldie. I mistook the login ID for a different one (that's why I got the error). The last sentence John said rang a bell for me.
