I got the same problem with you ，when I CC ，my screen go black，it takes quite a long time（like 10 or 20 seconds） for new map to show up on the screen，and then I always got DC when the new map just show up for 1 second or 2。
Can you please explain "DC" in more detail? Do you get returned to the desktop with an error message, or to the login screen? Does it happen when trying to CC in a certain map or to a certain channel?
My friend had the same problem, the screen went black for some time when changing ch and returned to the login screen. Fortunately I suggested to him to change the compatibility, before I was Win98 and I recommended to by Win XP SP3 and the problem was solved
in my case I just return to login screen，and it happend both in haunted house and showa town where I trained no matter which ch I want to change to。I guess it will happen in other maps。
