Hi everyone, While I was trying to finish Neo Tokyo pre-quest, some thoughts in regards to throwing stars came to my mind. I would like to suggest revamp on MTK as it seems to not have much merit compared to the other stars while it requires more effort and cost. The only merit of having MTK would be showing luxurious visual effect and wealth of your character. Plus, more players perhaps could be attracted to farm and grind at Neo Tokyo. Here are some suggestions: Increase weapon attack of MTK from 30 WA to 31 WA Increase amount of MTK to 1.5-2k stars when fully charged Thank you for reading and please share your thoughts!
I completely second to this and to addition, maybe add recharging option of MTK to NLC as well so the NT grind would be more rewarding.
if stars get that nerf, then so shall corsair bullets getting the nerf eternal bullets 19 att, armor piercing bullets 21 att
Does that mean if star get buffed, bullets get buffed too? Id support that but on topic, I don’t think NL or sair need any kind of damage buff, mtk having greater number of star per slot would be enough.
Another huge merit/perk of MTKs is that you can recharge them at Mushroom Shrine, which is accessible through almost every major town through Spinel, rather than have to travel all the way to NLC to recharge Balanced Furies. I personally sold off all my furies and transitioned to MTKs for this one perk. I really don't think throwing stars need any revamping, nor do I believe that Night Lords need an extra wa buff or more stars per recharge. Despite having the same wa as Balanced Furies, MTKs have still been in demand - despite them losing value from 1.6b down to 1.2b recently. This has largely been across the board though with the throwing stars market as Balanced Furies have dropped from 700m to 550m, and C Ilbis from 220m to 150m, respectively. Neo Tokyo, bossing at least, has been attractive already to grind and farm silver coins and Nano plants, while merchers have been eyeing these items to make mesos off crafting MTKs and selling them as completed items - so I don't believe there's merit to say that there needs to be a greater attraction for people to farm at NT. Also, paying to show off luxurious visual effects and wealth isn't something to be downplayed nor unique to throwing stars. Every GM NX equip (Veamoth/Sachiel/Janus sword, Flower Crown, etc.) and also chairs all have no functional purpose other than looking cool and, for some, flexing wealth - downplaying this aesthetic merit of MTKs doesn't strike me as a solid reason to say MTKs aren't worth the time and effort to make. As MTKs have already been settling down at a price that most people are comfortable with purchasing them at after the somewhat recent visual update, I don't believe rocking the market/community more with any Nightlord buffs/nerfs are needed at this time.
Probly 200+ stars per set can make the extra millions you have to spend on it, but I don't really think stars need any attack buff, if anything could be a little bit cheaper to craft (balanced fury 150m vs 500m) but im totally good paying more mesos for the badass look of the mtk and the comfort in recharging almost anywhere.
Infinite Throwing-Knives Flame Throwing-Stars idk how it would be introduced in server because Balanced fury and magic throwing knife are better, unless they buff the att and create a good craft system.
This would actually be pretty healthy balance-wise - adding more crafting adds more depth to the game/economy and would buff the lackluster drops from these sub-optimal, less popular bosses.
Exactly, plus if its a recipe and not the star itself, it becomes a more interesting material quest/sink, like mtk/fury/cilbi, rather than the star itself injected into the game
maybe von leon can drop it and you need purification totem and other material to craft it, but if we consider the both att from both stars don't worth craft, unless they buff att.
Maybe if they adjust: - Flame Throwing Stars from 29 -> 30 att, but keep the 1500 stars pet set - Infinite Throwing Stars from 27 -> 29 att, but keep the 2000 stars per set People would find it worth it to craft these stars and get more variety in star selection. These would match C Ilbis and Balanced Furies/MTKs att, respectively, but offer more stars per set, which would be a very attractive feature for end-game Night Lords looking to work on their (trigger warning) inventory management. Not to mention another thing to flex. I think there are definitely more important priorities for Royals to be working on right now, rather than adding in new NL stars, but it'd be a cool thing to consider, potentially, down the road!
