    Greetings,

This is a product of discussions with @Zancks. I'm not sure how many of you are aware, but there is a Precent/Hour thread from way back in 2014, and active for a while after. While that thread is a treasure trove of data, I believe we should start a new one given a few reasons. Please refer to the Motivation section.

    Format
If you would like to contribute, please gather some training partners and post your results. We recommend you take 1 screenshot before (party window open, inventory open for ease) and 1 screenshot after to compare EXP gains. Please also keep track of meso gains from NPC'd drops and meso drops.

    Map:
    Party size:
    Party composition (Jobs/Level):
    Total Exp in 1 hr:
    Meso Gain in 1 hr:
    Party's Atk Potion (if any):

If you don't feel like posting and calculating, feel free to send me the screenshots. I will calculate and credit you.
    Map: Oblivion 4
    Party size: 3
    Party composition (Jobs/Level): Paladin/160, Shadower/156, Bowmaster/157
Total Exp in 1 hr 80M/78M/76M:
Meso Gain in 1 hr: ##/##/## (Substitute ## with meso gain)
Party's Atk Potion (if any): Gizer

    Motivation
Please see Suggestion: Add a 'Party Grinding' Map to Neo Tokyo, where there was some preliminary, modern discussion on this topic (pre-LHC). Besides gathering much needed data to enhance the outdated, aforementioned thread, there are two main reasons that motivate this effort.
Throughout the lengthy discussions in "Make the LHC grind limitless", a majority, if not all figures cited involving experience and monetary gain came exclusively from bosses. Some would say this is the result of a "Bossing Meta", but I can't help but wonder if there is an alternative that is glossed over. Detailed information on EXP/hr coupled with PROFIT/hr for grinding (other than mages) is extremely limited. After thought, one can reach two hypotheses:
    1. Given some previous data and hopefully future data, there is a middle ground for allowing a limitless grind in LHC while also providing a limited time (1 hr) big bonus timeframe.
    2. Contrary to 1., there are already grinding spots which have acceptable EXP/hr and PROFIT/hr comparable to most players' idea of a "nerfed", but limitless LHC.
To reap the full benefits of LHC, one must gather a full party, with a high preference for melee characters with crowd control mechanics (blowing ranged out of the water). With other regular grinding maps, there is much less pressure, and more opportunity for classes to shine (for example, things like Damage over time (DoT) do not apply to LHC.)

We hope to obtain information that may shed some light on these.

Additionally, in Update 72 we received the following buff to the Bonus Party EXP System.

    Current Interest
Quite a lot of maps have been released where rates have not been tested thoroughly. Personally, I will begin the investigation in Neo Tokyo (perhaps starting at Mavs, the map where one signs up for Nibergen) and extend to Ellin Forest, Temple of Time, and Ulu. Players should keep the map size and elemental weaknesses in mind when choosing a map to grind in. Also keep in mind the item exchange in Ellin Forest, to which I have given some thought towards the end of this post.

We appreciate any help put toward this effort. Thank you very much. :)

Map: 2102: Old Fox Flagship (Mav A/Y)
Party size: 2 (AFK bishop mule for HS/MW20) Solo attacker
    Party composition (Jobs/Level): Shad/186, BS/165
Total Exp in 1 hr: 67,691,520
Meso Gain in 1 hr: 22.6m meso (Raw + NPC) + 40 Silver coins = 38.6m (Silver coin 400k each as of this post)
Party's Atk Potion (if any): None

Pretty underwhelming. I was really chill, but expected a bit more. I did get an 81 atk kc drop, but that's not that notable. Would probably be significantly better with two active attackers, 1 top and 1 bottom in this map. Perhaps I should have gizered.

I think I'll hit up ToT next, depending on what kind of partner I can find.

Map: Time Lane: Road to Oblivion 3
    Party size: 2
    Party composition (Jobs/Level): Shad/191, Hero/128
Total Exp in 1 hr: 41,738,474 (Projected from a 30 minute grind)
Meso Gain in 1 hr: 16m meso (Raw + NPC) [Both players]
Party's Atk Potion (if any): None, Used Rage which was sufficient.

Decided to help my brother today who is at a much earlier stage of the game. We did the 999 kill quest in Oblivion 3, which took approx. 30 minutes. (28-30 minutes, had slight timing issue.) No HS as I didn't want to mule, and only MW10 and rage were used. If I were to guess, this is the absolute minimum you should be getting here. This area feels a bit lackluster, especially considering how quest-gated it is. Perhaps it can use a touch up, but that requires more testing.

It's difficult to find people to help test, but that's understandable. I'd really like at least one more attacker to test out Obv 4 or Neo Tokyo, so if you're interested, let me know!
