Hello, I am back after a year, used to PPQ till now but it seems there are not many people there now. Also I'm not sure if this is the right place anymore. I know the leveling up guide, but unfortunately at Himes I don't find anyone to party and I find it quite difficult to level up like this. But it's doable. Should I just train there? Or another place? Also, it is the first time for me reaching such a high level on this server, and I know some people start buying leech at this point. When should I buy leech too? And about the prices for leech. I see for examlpe in Shay's Price guide that solo leech at Petri is 130M-140M. this is for 1 level or what? Thank you!
If you want to train yourself himes are a great spot - buy a super megaphone for 2m from the npc in the FM and search for a DK or CB. Just make sure they are around your level as you can't solely leech from himes until 95. If you have the ability to buy leech, your level is just about the best time to buy it. You can buy leech from Ulu2 from level 90 -> 105. The leech there is very cheap, around 35m split and 70m solo. You can go to petri at 105 -> 120 or petri 105 -> 108 and 108 -> 120 at skeles, it gets a lot more costly once you hit 110-120 Petri is around 65/split and 130/solo last I checked. Skeles usually a little lower than that like 60/split and 120 solo. Ideally you should always be splitting with a partner, the exp is a little slower but you save a lot of meso in the long run
All rates posted here (and in smegas) are an hourly rate, you're usually going to get over 1 level per hour for most of your leeching. You get the most bang for your buck at 90-105 from ulu due to how cheap it is and how much exp you get The earlier you are into the leech bracket you will likely get over 2 levels per hour, this declines over time as each level requires more exp
See some of my advice here. While it's a bit for the lower level side, if you ever need some quick cash hit up coolie zombies, while also gaining a fair bit of EXP. Nerd's advice is pretty solid. For almost any activity, you will probably need to smega. Active lobby/waiting areas are a thing of the past, since there are a number of things people can do in Royals besides twiddling their thumbs waiting for a party. As a priest, you may be able to find some free leech in Ulu from others trying to train in exchange for HS (it would help immensely to be an active killer with Shining Ray, which is what I did for a bit.) For Himes, avoid using Shining Ray if you are. You want to just main Heal the whole time there. This will allow you to purchase purely MP potions and not have to focus on your HP at all (aside from magic guard and invincible buffing). Make sure you are luring them into large groups before spam attacking. You can grab a smega to find a training partner, but solo training is just as fine (I solo trained there for a bit). Getting toward level 108 ish you may want to consider finding a training partner for skeles in the map The Dragon Nest Left Behind. This is where skele leech usually occurs. In the bottom left of the map there is a complete safe spot where you can reach a lot of mobs with Heal, so lure the bottom mobs from right to left and spam Heal, while having another attacker control the top platforms. If you don't have a training partner, I'd probably avoid this map.
About leeching or free leeching for HS you mentioned. Will I be able to absorb the EXP from the leecher if I'm not within a 5 level range? Someone told me that I won't be able to absorb her EXP at Himes because of that.
As long as your level and the mob’s level is within the range, you’re good to go. Seller’s level is not crucial here. Seller’s level determines the amount of exp you will receive. The higher the seller’s level, the lesser the amount of exp you will be able to receive
