Hey, I think we should reconsider the exp nerf to Galloperas in Malaysia and balance it out with Ulu 2. The current data is as follows: Galloperas Lv. 94 (leechable at Lv. 89) Exp. 2000*3.2= 6400 - 43000 HP Ratio: ~6.719HP/Exp Veetron Lv. 90 (Leechable at Lv. 85) 1900*3.2= 6080 - 42000 HP Ratio: ~6,908HP/Exp Slygie Lv. 95 (Leechable at Lv. 90) 2500*3.2= 8000 - 49000 HP Ratio: 6,125HP/Exp Galloperas data in the official maplestory back then Lv. 94 (leechable at Lv. 89) Exp. 2500*3.2=8000 Ration: 6,125HP/Exp I agree that adjustments to galloperas are needed for the games balance as it was too dominant in the official Server, but I see a lack of balance comparing it to the dominant area for lvls 90-105 in mapleroyals. Ulu2 is one of the best grinding/leeching maps in the entire server especially for its recommended levelrange for several reasons: - awesome Map-Layout - Awesome Exp - Awesome NPC-able equips - Chance for endgame goodies e.g. Red Cravens Conclusion: Currently Ulu2 beats Galloperas in all of the four aspects I mentioned. My Dream/TL DR: Galloperas should be slightly superior in exp while Ulu2 should be superior for money making still gaining exp/leeching on the sides. Possible solutions to fix it: 1. Buff Galloperas Exp accordingly 2. Buff Galloperas Exp even more and change the Monster level to something like 102 to increase map variety 3. Nerf the Exp at Ulu 2 (not really a good idea as it affects ulu 1 and/or Duku + Archmages already got hit quite a lot recently) Thank you for your time and input!
Buff gallop, or add the changed data into library, so people know before going there to train and realise the terrible exp.
I thoroughly detest most ulu maps minus maybe dukus. Ulu 2 is too good of a maps that most alternative or comparable maps is simply forgotten about. I'm not a huge fan of gallos being the default either. Both maps are stupidly simple as they're flat and posses higher than normal spawn numbers and respawn rates. Ulu being way more egregious in that it both drops a classes end game weapon and serves as a place that pumps a signifiant amount of easy free meso into the game. I'd love to see them take a bat to ulu 2 AND keep gallos nerfed. Instead I'd like to see alternative maps brought up to compensate. Do something similar to what they did with ghost ship 2. Ghost ship 2 for any newer Royaller used to be twice maybe 3 times the spawn it is now and was hands down best map to grind at for basically the second you could hit them in mid 2nd job and well into the first half of 3rd job. You'd literally be there for 30 levels in some cases and as you'd imagine for a map so good, they were always full, maps were sold and they were prone to disagreements about map owner. Staff later did a brilliant job of nerfing the map but also buffing other maps and even adding content later down the line that helped to fill in those levels. I'd like to see us do the same for ulu. It's high time the map died. Get it out of here and let's get something new
Training at gallos was always pretty fun. I'd be a fan of them getting a small buff. Ulu is great and I wanna keep it as an option, but it does kinda suck that it's so dominate with 3 maps across a decently wide level range (ulu 1, 2, and petris).
If they removed the holy weakness, it'd be a lot easier to balance. I'm guessing the original "nerf" was to keep bishops in check relative to AMs?
The drop rate at Gallopera also seems much lower. 2 mages in 2 channels and only 5 equips + 1 bullet in 15 min? Buff exp and drop rate?
