When Lovestruck King Slime appears, I immediately d/c and I can't re-enter that map on channel 3. I can go to amoria on any other channel while this event is happening so King Slime is definately the problem. I updated my .wz to the most recent patch when they came out and I re-downloaded the mob.wz in particular yesterday, but no results. Also, before this event happened, Gaga said my .wz files were up to date so I really don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?
Wanted to add to this: I used to crash instantly at slime with an error that looked like wrong .wz files. I had no problems aywhere else in game and gaga told me i was up to date. My parallels client, that downloaded the same files at the same time ran without issue. I redownloaded the wz files, though I was pretty certain i had all of them. Still had the problem. Redownloaded ALL .wzs, even the ones older than last patch. Still had a problem. Removed royals from my Mac and downloaded the full client from the main site and I can run the slime map just fine now (though it still lags about five times as badly in Mac client as on parallels, but that was expected.)
Mac Client is not advised for any bosses, not only Zakum and Horntail. Even in just large groups in the FM the Mac Client can still run into issues due to the large amount of images/skills on the screen.
Which is why I mentioned I was expecting it to lag, or to dc if i were near slime and exposed to all the people moving around. But I was previously getting a wrong .wz files type crash, (insta crash whole client with an error message as soon as slime spawns, even if I'm on the other side of the map) despite being updated to the files available at royals.ms/downloads/wz and im now not getting that error after using the full download on the main site.
