Hi guys, Hoping for some guidance from you pro arch mages out there on upgrading my equips. I've recently come back so still getting back into the groove of things. Current Stats: LVL 145 F/P INT 740 (+109 Equips = 849) LUK 7 (+35 Equips = 42) Magic: 1015 (No buffs) Equips: Z Helm (33 INT) Fallen Leaf Earring (8LUK/2MATK) Purple Gaia Cape (8INT/6MATK) White Doros Robe (26 INT) Silver Deputy Star (+5 All stats) Master Adventurer Badge (+2 All stats) Ele Wand 5 (9INT/153MATK) Esther Shield (6INT) Dark Noel (12INT/5MATK) White Belt (4LUK/1 All other stats) Yellow Windshoes (7INT) I've got a 1.5B budget to upgrade for maximum damage, ideally want to 1 hit petri ASAP. Where should I begin? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
You need 1257 total magic to 1-hit petris (assuming you have over 1K int), elsewise you'd need 1260 magic These are what I would upgrade if I were you in order of importance/cost efficiency: Silver Deputy Star (+5 All stats) ⟶ Sell the dep star and buy a horntail pendant service (HTP). Assuming you sell the dep start this upgrade will cost you ~100m and give you an additional ~17 int & ~17 luk Fallen Leaf Earring (8LUK/2MATK) ⟶ Buy 24 TMA single earrings. These cost about 150-170M, it will have 9 int & 15 Magic attack Ele Wand 5 (9INT/153MATK) ⟶ You're gonna want something in the 180s, this gets costly the closer you are to 190. I personally bought a 173 TMA wand for 175M, buy what you can afford Esther Shield (6INT) ⟶ If this has slots still, scroll it with 100% shield magic attack for a free 7 magic. You should assume you will always be on a magic potion. This is a cheap and easy to maintain the magic required to 1-hit petri. I personally use a Energizer drink on my FP for two reasons 1) it gives a nice 30 magic 2) it serves as a 30 minute timer, so 2 completes a full hour of leech. These cost like 1M and there are plenty in the FM at all times. TMA is 'Total magic attack' - as one INT = one Magic Attack, people usually combine the numbers to make it easier to value Your most important upgrade is potentially going to be your most costly, Maple warrior 20 (Mw20). Most people who buy leech at petri are expecting this buff for washing and this buff will also grant you a large amount of INT. The books range from 1.7-.18b (currently) and have a 50% success rate. I opted not to get Mw20 on my FP mage and instead on my main attacking class (NL). When selling leech I enter the map on my NL to buff my party and my FP, then quickly enter the lounge to prevent any EXP being taken.

1. No not by the pq, by buying htp service, a party who kills ht and u take the pendant same as it goes with a zhelm 2. Single earrings for sure 3. Mapleshield or maybe a good scrolled estersheidl
