Hello there! Thank you for being honest and coming forward with this information. Luckily the situation you are describing does not fall under major account sharing. I have forwarded your ban appeal to the admins so they can verify the severity of the account sharing within the game logs. With that being said, I will be going ahead and banning both of your accounts for 30 days for minor account sharing. This ban can be lifted or prolonged by an admin once he reviews the game logs. Account Sharing - The act of sharing the use of your account, sharing account information with any other individual, or the act of logging into or otherwise using an account owned by another person, with or without permission, regardless of whether or not the information was directly or indirectly shared. Please be aware that, in some cases as per the discretion of Staff, we reserve the right to respond with less harsh punishment. This rule was altered in October of 2014 to respond to the growing number of people abusing the ability to share accounts for a variety of purposes that we deemed unacceptable. Eight scenarios for which account sharing will be considered an immediate permanent ban are the following: Using power-leveling services; Two or more people taking turns in leveling up a character (i.e. training); Logging onto someone else's character in order to leech your own; Removing items from or deleting someone else's character; Giving an account with a high-leveled character on it to someone else; Committing a bannable offense (other than just account sharing) on someone else's account; Wasting Staff time by lying about the account sharing; Sharing your account details with multiple people. In any other situations, the default punishment will be a 30-day ban and potentially a reversal of actions taken during the share, however, this is still subject to Staff discretion and the involved parties may face a permanent ban regardless of their situation not being listed above. Finally, the use of the same account information as other locations such as your personal social media or any other game servers does not violate this rule, however, any individuals who access your account on the basis of knowledge of account information in other places do. Hi Dasha, thanks for viewing our post. Has the admin team checked the chat logs? Just clarifying that we werent sharing accounts - we live in the same household so we log in together a lot. Nothing was intentional nor did we try to benefit from our actions. When we became aware, we applied for self-ban immediately because I wanted you to know that I had no intention of breaking the rules. We reread the rules thoroughly and now that we know we will take extra caution. Please have mercy banning both of our accounts for 30 days is too harsh on our lives! We just want to have fun playing.
Thank you for providing further context to your ban appeal. The time it takes an admin to reply to your ticket varies due to other responsibilities he has to attend. Part of my obligations as a staff member is to enforce the game rules fairly to all players. What you have described in your appeal is considered as minor account sharing, regardless of if your sibling provided you with their account information. I'm aware that this is a huge inconvenience to both of you, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I hope that your ticket will be attended to as soon as possible.
