Closed Banned after not logging on for several years

ALL Your Character Names: I don't remember. It's been several years since I last logged in. I believe I had total of three accounts which are all currently blocked. I'm able to provide login ID's through PM.
Last thing you did: I don't remember... Possibly grinding on a Priest or doing Ludibrium PQ on Bandit or something
Why do you think you got banned?: I haven't logged on for several years, that might be why?
Ban message when attempting to log in: "This is an ID that has been deleted or blocked from connection."

It might be around end of the year 2017, or early 2018. I’ll see if I can get to my old laptop and see if I can find a more precise time within a few hours!

Date modified for “Patcher” is 2/21/2018 and date modified for several wz files are 7/7/2018. I would assume around those two dates would be the last time I played the game.

 

It looks like the accounts provided through our PM were permanently banned for game hacking on the 26th of Feb 2019.

Punishment: Permanent ban.

Game Hacking - The act of using or benefiting from any third-party program or macro program, editing or defacing any part of the game to gain any sort of advantage over other players, or otherwise selling, advertising, distributing, or posting information related to the act.

Robotic Play - The act of engaging in robotic or automatic play which allows your character to function without your presence or interaction. Please be aware that, in cases of severe abuse as per the discretion of Staff, we reserve the right to respond with a permanent ban regardless of whether it is your first offense. See Appendix for more information.

Additional information regarding the above terms may be found in the following appendix, included assisting in better understanding of terms that may include special circumstances or situations. Please note that not all of the above terms may have further explanations.

Appendix: Game Hacking - You are allowed to rebind keys in a 1:1 action matter with third-party software as there is no direct benefit in doing that overusing the default keys. We also allow the use of controllers and remapping software for example, as long as the player can reply while playing to not be mistaken for a bot. Please be aware that scripted macro programs which control your character will be considered a game hack and subject to punishment under this rule, and not under Moderate Infraction - 5. Robotic Play.

Appendix: Robotic Play - This act will be defined as the failure of a player to respond to a member of Staff when prompted and visibly at the controls of their character, as evidenced by actions such as movement or use of skills. In the situation where a player is prompting another player, a response is not strictly mandatory; however, a player report in which a player is being prompted numerous times without response over a long period of time may be considered sufficient evidence for consequences under this rule at the discretion of Staff. As such, we strongly suggest to all players respond to any prompts in order to avoid being portrayed in a manner that may not be true. The use of third-party key macros which cause one input action to register multiple outputs, or leaving weights on your keyboard, or any other method which allows your character to function without your presence or interaction will be considered grounds for consequences under this rule.

 

Hmmm, I don’t recall anything about that… in fact if I remember correctly I recall voting for nx next several days even after I decided to stop playing, in case I come back and play later. I don’t think I would have voted if I stopped playing because I got banned, since I would no longer have access to nx.
Also, date modified for patcher was 2/21/2018, in which I would assume I haven’t touched the client since that date. Could it possibly be someone hacking into my account and hacking the game?
And if it was, is there anything I can do about this?

 

It's plausible if you used the same information on other private servers or disabled your PIC/PIN for fast login. I've forwarded your ticket to the admins to verify the possibility of account recovery.

Meanwhile, please reset your account information using our Control Panel. If you forgot your email/user name you can follow the instruction on this thread.

Hi, meanwhile I was looking over this post, I just realized that you said that my account was banned on February 2019, not 2018. Not that I was hacking or anything in 2018 in the first place, but if “2019” was not a typo, I can definitely tell you that it was not me. I did not touch MapleRoyals since 2018 and in fact got a new laptop November 2018, which has no trace of MapleRoyals being downloaded.

I did find out that one of the three accounts that I’ve provided through pm had no PIN/PIC set up, while other two had at least one of these set up. So if it helps proving that I’m innocent, I’d assume the one without PIN/PIC was banned while last log in date for two other accounts with PIN and or PIC set up would be still in 2018 or prior.

Sorry if I’m just being impatient. I just haven’t heard back for several days and was hoping that my ticket that’s been forwarded wasn’t lost (or admins are not convinced that I’m innocent).

 

Thank you for providing more information in regards to your activity. The time it takes an admin to reply to your ticket varies due to other responsibilities he has to attend. Sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Hi, it's been more than a month. I'm just going to assume this won't progress any further and move on. Thanks for trying to resolve this issue.

 

Sadly I'm unable to verify your account content and unblock your previous characters without admin authorization, therefore your ticket is still pending.

I know that the wait time can seem unproportioned or make you want to stop pressuring your account recovery, and for that, I would like to apologize. I've reviewed the ban log once again, and it seems like you would be able to continue playing if you would like to start fresh. If that's something you are interested in, feel free to do so. Further recovery of your old account would still require an admin, and it's up to you if you would like to keep this thread open.
