Solved [Solution Given] Can't Connect to Mapleroyals (whitelisted) because firewall servercheck or other network Issues

Hello. I haven't played the game for almost a year but I really miss it. I have downloaded Mirror 1 of 1024x768 today.
After I downloaded the set up, I whitelisted it and turned off Windows Defender to install the game. After that, I whitelisted both the folder and the game itself before turning the defender back on. I restarted the computer.
Still, I get teh message that I am unable to connect to Mapleroyals (whitelisted) because firewall servercheck or other network Issues. Any ideas what should I do? I would love to resume playing today or tommorow... thank you so much!!!

 

I'm sorry but I don't quite undestand. what do you mean different network? do you mean different internet network?

as I said, I have both turned off Windows Defender for the download and instellation and whitelisted the whole folder+ the .exe
I just tried the whole process again (and disabled the defender before downloading the installer). I have the game itself on my computer (ASUS zenbook) but can't open it, with same message so frustrating.... a year and a half ago I whitelisted it once and it worked great... same comp....
