Just a small quality of life change for Core Blaze to make the boss fight a bit better/clearer. Not sure if this is a bug or intended game mechanic but please make the Core Blaze draw distance view wider like other bosses such as Horntail/Zakum since it's very annoying to reposition your character. Once you fall (go out of distance), you will have to stand close to Core Blaze for it to "reappear" on your screen. It also looks pretty odd on my other client. Spoiler: core blaze draw distance example
You can actually teleport to the right platform by a hidden portal located at the left upper platform. It's a rock if i remember correctly. Right side is much easier to attack/park mules in my opinion, but the downside is that you can't see your damage and the defense up icon.
It has recently become even more relevant for us to investigate. See if you can figure out why. So the answer is: we are still looking into it
I'ma take a shot in the dark and a whole lot of copium and guess that it is to do with the statue boss draw distances in Pink Bean and getting them to work with the larger resolution client.
Maps to also consider changing if a fix is available since they are not as relevant anymore due to the limited draw distance (post new source): Deep Sea Gorge 2 Wolf Spider Cavern
Hi, could you elaborate on how an increased visual render distance could make these maps more viable?
Another issue or change post new source (not sure if it's intended) would also be Echo of Hero. I remember it would buff the entire map but due to the smaller visual render distance or smaller distance from the skill it is unable to do that now. Special thanks to @Eli for providing the videos Spoiler: old source gobies Pretty much self explanatory, the gobies would swarm your character after the house gets killed when the visual render distance was bigger back in the old source. Spoiler: old source wolfspiders I feel like you miss a lot more (especially with a mage ultimate) at wolf spider cavern due to the limited draw distance in this map. This might also be due to the mob count in each map, I am not entirely sure. Wolf spiders use to be a prime training and/or leeching map back in the old source but I guess its not really viable anymore due to distance change. Not sure if you need some videos of the current state of the maps above for comparison but I would be happy to help record if necessary!
