Hi, im a lvl 146 f/p mage right now and I'm super close to getting to the required magic to 1 hit petris. Is there any advice for upgrading my gear to getting to 1.2k magic? My current magic with buffs is 1137, and I already have mw 20 and maxed meteor shower.
U can get a 8int shoe in fm or try to find it urself Also can find better shield and earring Ofc try to get htp for more def That zhelm is so good btw
Do you have a budget in mind and does your current magic of 1137 include a magic potion? (Energizer drink, meditation, etc)
I said I have 1137 with all my buffs that add magic (mw20, meditation), and I plan to 1 hit petris by lvl 150 and am willing to spend as much as possible
I asked that because it wasn't clear in your post if you were using any as you only specified mw20. They also provide two different values (20 versus 30) so in terms of min-maxing it can save you a lot of start up meso to use energizers. If your goal is to 1-hit petris by level 150 you will need to achieve a total magic of 1257 (assuming you have over 1,000 int with m20) elsewise you'd need 1260 magic. With your current gear set and an extra 4 levels you would be at 1159 with mw20 (or +10 more with an energizer) Gear upgrades I would make to achieve this where your budget is high: Wand -> 190 wand (+21) Shield -> 25 tma shield (+19) Earring -> 28 tma earring (+14) HTP -> You already mentioned, but including it (+17) Shoes -> +8 int level 40 moon shoes (+3) Eye -> White raccoon mask +7 int (+7) Krex ring -> (+3) Dojo white belt -> +4 int (100% scrolls) (+4) That would place you at exactly 1247 total magic, where using an energizer instead of meditate would give you 1257 magic. If you do not wish to use energizers, you would need to find +10 more int/ma elsewhere - this will cost quite a bit more: Earring -> 32 tma (+4) Shield -> 29 tma (+4) Eye -> White raccoon mask +9 int (+2) The numbers might be slightly off depending if you already have a belt/krex ring but as long as you aim for 1257 magic with over 1,000 int you should be able to min-max your gear accordingly Good luck
Wow, thank you for explaining further for my gear! I can get started right away on saving up for endgame gear
Keep in mind there might be substantially cheaper alternatives than the ones I presented. I'm definitely dated on mage gear prices so you might find a 185 wand + 30 int overall to be drastically cheaper than just a 190 wand - just make sure you check prices for other gears at the time of buying
