IGN: Geekrocker/Geekhoven Reason for ban: Dunno Ban Message: "cant connect due to a server check...." when trying to start royals.exe Gm who banned you: dunno Hi, getting this error since last night and have been trying to make it work on my other laptop but still unsuccessful. I cant access the website aswell w/ my 2 laptops, luckily my phone saves the day so I was able to make a thread regarding this issue. Also, I already made an initial thread on character issues/forums&website.
Could you tell me which of these characters are yours, please? Tritonal Mahika GeekMachine XHiogo XGiorgio
OK, I've searched and searched and found no reason why you shouldn't be able to log in. You're definitely not banned.
I'm in the city right now so I don't know if the 2 laptops at our house is working now. I have my own laptop here in the city and im not getting the "cant connect due to server check " error when loading royals. I was able to login yesterday with no problem. Do you think it's an ISP related issue? Well, thanks for looking into it Kat and I appreciate your help.
I see no harm in contacting your ISP and explaining the problem to them. Are you finding that there are certain locations/networks you CAN login from?
Some websites does not work aswell on my 2 laptops in our house, but my laptop in the city is working perfectly with royals and other websites. Thank you Katsuruka
Since you arent banned, I'm going to move this to Technical help and hope that someone even more tech savvy than I can help.
Can you provide any further information on when this started occuring and if you have attempted to contact your ISP?
Thanks Sila, I'll keep this thread updated when I get back to our house and see if the problem is still there. On the other note, city laptop lets me play with no problem at all.
Never had problems with it up until feb. 1. The last time i was able to start royals.exe was jan. 30 but i did not play the day after that. I Dont know if it's connected but when i tried other websites like twitch or yahoo, it wasn't able to load aswell. Some websites work, some don't. Is that you Alex? Long time br!
You may want to check your DNS resolver settings and possibly change these if necessary. e.g. https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using
I'm in the house right now and Mapleroyals is running properly, so as the websites I'm having problems with in the past. What has happened I think was just a bad connection between me and my ISP. Thanks for the feedback and helpful response people (Alex, Kat, Sila, Matt).
