    Hey, so long story short.

Started playing Maple again after 14+ years. Got really, really dissapointed.
Did my research, came here.. But.. I just.. have one..... burning question..

    1. IS MAPLE ROYALS GONNA BE NOSTALGIC ?!

    2. IS PARTY QUESTING STILL A THING ?!
    KPQ - LPQ - CPQ - OPQ - THE WHOLE SHEBANG'A

    3. IS IT GONNA BE WHAT I EXPECT IT TO BE ?!

    4. S THE COMMUNITY STILL KIND & LOVING & FUN & SOCIAL
& ACTIVE LIKE IT USED TO BE ?!

    5. CAN I STILL GO TO HIGH LEVEL PLACES AND DIE THERE LIKE
A COMPLETE NEWB AND SCREAM FOR HELP TILL SOMEBODY GETS ME ?!?!?!?!

Or is Maple Royals just gonna be a small community of Maplers, that are buffed & high level?
So that when I start, it's just gonna be as much solo play as it is in Nexon Maple :(

    Be real with me!
I'm very curious! & I would love to try it out.. :)
    Thank you

    1. Nostalgia is completely subjective - For me the game emulates the period of MapleStory that I grew up with and allows me to do content I wasn't able to when I was younger. The nostalgia comes from the simplistic style and progression the game had during that time period.

    2. Party questing for leveling at lower levels isn't really a thing. When the server was younger there were a lot of low level new players and PQs were an obvious choice for progression and rewards, as the server aged access to faster leveling methods became much more popular and obtainable (orbis etc exchange, low level leech, cpq leech, etc). However, party questing for high/mid levels is a thing, this is mostly seen with CWKPQ (If you have additional chars to play on ) and APQ for profit (onyx apples)

That's not to say you won't find anyone at KPQ, LPQ, etc , it's just that it's not as popular as it was in the original game. There are higher level players that do the PQ due to specific untradeable rewards so you might be able to join them from time to time.

    3. That's a question for yourself, manage your expectations. The game is not going to perfectly replicate the 'old school maplestory' vibe as that's simply impossible, there are far less players than the original game and there are custom edits/content that deviate from the original design.

    4. The community is from my experience quite friendly, though there are surely some bad apples here and there - if you yourself are friendly that is usually reflected back at you

    5. Wouldn't be MapleStory if you couldn't, so definitely yes

This is an older server so it does feel top heavy with high level players. There are always new guilds recruiting new to Royals players, it's just a matter of finding them. Give the server an honest try and see if you like it, don't forget to vote daily for 8K NX as it can greatly help you out in the lower levels
