I am here to seek clarification about this rule, as well as request for it to be re-written in a simpler, non confusing way. According to the Game T&C : "Persistent mass defamation will be considered no less than two defames by an individual and may also include asking, paying, or otherwise incentivizing other players to defame another individual." To my best understanding of this rule, Mass defaming will only be considered when you defame someone twice or more, whether it was 2 defames, 3 defames or more. Whereas defaming someone once does not qualify as mass defame. The situation I was faced with yesterday when trying to buy Ulu2 leech, in short was : I agreed to buy leech from the seller 'OnThisRock' --> Just before paying him I realized he's not planning to telecast, so I told him I'm not interested --> He got mad, called me a dickhead and defamed me twice Spoiler: Defame SS I again quote from T&C : "Slurs such as ****** and ******, as well as any variations on them, are immediately bannable. Other highly offensive slurs may be considered equally bannable at the discretion of Staff, particularly when used in public chat or when used specifically against another player." The point I am here to discuss is not about the insult 'dickhead', because according to the above rule, insults can be bannable as per the discretion of the staff member handling your report. And I'm guessing that the staff member @Dasha who handled my report did not see the insult as ban-worthy. Spoiler: Dasha's reply Nothing personal against Dasha, I'm only illustrating how a member of the staff handled my case. I am here to clear some doubts and seek a better understanding of the game rules : Is 2 defames considered mass defame? If so, why didn't 'OnThisRock' get banned? If not, and the rule meant that only 3 defames or above, would it be possible to rewrite the game T&C in a plain and direct way to avoid confusion? To back up my point about the rule being poorly written, I have this Screenshot of a conversation between a friend of mine (whom wishes to stay anonymous, hence the blurring) and staff member @Dave Deviluke Spoiler: Dave's POV Despite Dave not handling reports as of the time being (afaik), He is still part of the staff team, and the fact that he would consider 2 defames to be 'mass' meanwhile Dasha does not, means that there is a grey area in this rule, In which it should instead be set in stone, not a case-by-case or staff member discretion rule : - certain number of defames or above = ban - below certain number of defames = no ban
Yeah I agree, just rewrite it "three or more defames". The mental gymnastics to try to understand "no less than two defames" is dumb.
I agree the wording is unclear or confusing to some individuals especially if English is not their first language. It should have been worded 3 or more to be taken into consideration of a ban.
I would also like for the rule to include a time frame, since I was once reported for defaming a person for 3 different incidents across 2 days.
THose know the rules will never defames more than that amount, even those with high fame/low fame doesnt means he is good/bad person becuz we allow to buy fame , so the best is remove the defame button since the numbers/meaning of FAME/Reputation is not correctly shows how the person was xD , just my opinion.
