They can go invisible in maps. I think there used to be a compilation video of GM on youtube catching hackers while invisible. You could also have the client record who goes into the mini dungeon (and for how long).
I know they can invisible, know this since 15 years ago(ops is 17 years ago), i did try didt report hacker when i saw one , in the end that hacker survive for almost 3 month. . .
GMs are very busy................. But you are correct, I will admit that my suggestion is only viable after an autoban system. Mini dungeon would help Autoban (when it comes) by flagging names (mini dungeon instead of normal map to avoid flagging players just walking through the map).
But if hacker know they will be easier to get catch at dungeon, will they still go in? EH BRO WE OFF TOPIC ROFL!
New players have maps to farm Multi-clienters can continue if they want Hackers are discouraged from going in (assuming autoban or flagging to GMs for these maps) I'm probably just dreaming though.
I don't think there is a problem to be solved. I think the vocal minority is influencing way too much of the changes on this server. Way too much squeaky wheel getting the grease. There shouldn't be something wrong with using game mechanics to benefit yourself. If it's an issue of not enough of a mob (not bosses) and it's really that big of an issue then create instanced dungeons. I've only had one instance of not being able to find a hoodoo map in all my hoodoo farming days. (went back 30 min later and found one) I've always been able to find a bigfoot. I am really sus of people's actual efforts before complaining because surely they didn't exhaust all the available resources before coming to their conclusion.
Many people seem to be pro-mage story which makes sense because we're asking the people that stayed because they liked it. We aren't asking the many people who already quit because of how much the economy has been so deeply inflated. My point is that if we ask this question, you're clearly asking people who are okay with it, else they would have (like me) quit. It really doesn't take much time to find ex Royals around about why they quit and 9/10 times have the same answer.
