Solved [Solution Given] [WindowsXP/VMWare] Client Fails to Start

    Hello,

    Ever since the Valentines patch 77.0, I have been unable to start the client up.

    I have tried to reinstall the game files multiple times, including redownloading the set up files to no avail. The problem persists even after reinstalling the new setup files from patch 77.1. I am currently using Windows XP paired with VMWare.

    Starting the client leads to the first error message and clicking 'OK' produces the second error message.

    I have also tried running as administrator and adjusting the compatibility settings to no avail.

    Hello,

    I was trying to use windows xp to play royals on vmware ealier and I faced the exact same problem. My solution is to use the win 7 instead. It works well to me.

    Edit:
    I just found that the operation system must be windows vista or higher since the update 65. Probably this the reason we kept facing the issue in win xp
