Sometimes Mapleroyals works, but sometimes it does not. I have to try to launch the games a couple of times before it actually works. I get this error when I can't load the game: "Failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr20" Is it because I don't have the latest graphics drivers? I bought my computer a few months ago, so I don't think that's the problem. I am also using windows 8.1.
Try using the lolwut launcher for Windows 8 and see if that resolves your problem. I myself do not have any experience with Windows 8, but I know other people on here play with it so perhaps they can be of more help.
Thank you very much. Although I still get the same error sometimes, it still helped a bit. I can login faster now. I still can't login with Sandbox though. No matter how many times I try to launch the game with it, it still gives me that error. At least I can play Mapleroyals (1 client), so it is fine if you do not know what could be the problem.
