My laptop which uses windows is 'broken' so I resorted to downloading MapleRoyals on my mac. I downloaded the old MapleRoyals folder with the old client and replaced the old client with the most latest client on the announcements page. I downloaded Wineskin too and updated the wrapper version to 2.5.12 and the engine to 1.7.10. I created a new wrapper and under package contents I used the Wineskin under it and went to 'Install Software' and copied a copy of the MapleRoyals folder inside. In the Windows EXE: bar it says "/Program Files/MapleStory/MapleRoyals.exe". It should be right as the folder should be in the drive:c folder if I'm not mistaken. As instructed I went to configuration and then tools and clicked 'Update Wrapper' twice. Then I test ran it and it said 'a tool is running' and for some reason it continued for the whole night -.- Finally, it said test run complete, then I closed Wineskin and all, clicked the MapleRoyals.app and the icon pops up on my dock showing that it's open but nothing happens. It just stays there, no screen popping up, nothing. I restarted the app several times (actually like a thousand times) but still nothing happens. I even tried leaving it for a whole afternoon 'cause maybe it's lagging but nope. I really want to play ~f4

Any advice?? Loving the server by the way despite the minor bugs. A magnificent effort indeed.

    Additional details:
    Mac OS X Version 10.6.8
    Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400.

Download and follow the instructions for the MapleRoyals MAC Setup posted on the Downloads page of the MapleRoyals site.

I think you are overdoing it.

On my mac (Macair mid 2013, Mavericks) all I did, was download the latest version of MapleRoyals, then I opened the package, and replaced the client with the new one, and I replaced the old .wz files with the new ones.

I haven't had to download wineskin or update the wrapper or anything. ._.

Maybe I got lucky though, I've only had a mac since I got this one for school.

A couple of things to try:
Try to put the game in applications folder.
Update wrapper a few more times and also refresh wrapper.
    Do a test run.
Try to browse and go to the .exe file again.

Fixed the screen thanks! Maybe the sound thing is a problem for all mac users...I guess I can listen to music or something so my ears won't feel so lonely...
