Sorry to hear that, I am also unsure how to resolve it (can only offer general advice) Is your Windows Update fully updated as well?
Hey i also had the same issue and still have on my desktop my solution to this problem was to play from my 7 year old laptop... Try maybe reformating your windows is the best i can offer to my knowledge
Have you given updating your graphics driver a go yet? Its a possible bet that that might be the solution as thats most likely given the circumstances/occurrences you mentioned. Also sometimes your PC will attempt to decide which GPU to utilize for certain things, if I were you, I would check for any Intel graphics driver updates if you've got one inside your PC which you can find out by typing "Device Manager" into the bar when you hit the Windows key and giving a click on Display Adapters. That and usually each graphics card type has its own graphics driver update utility, for AMD, it would most likely be "AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition" and for NVIDIA, it would be "Geforce Experience" for which both of these are downloadable if you don't have them yet. Give your drivers an update then give getting inside the game another attempt to see if it succeeds.
Hey I am having the same issue. I am attaching a txt file from the event viewer, there are 4 error messages about the crash
Hey, I hope you're doing well. The problem you're experiencing is probable corruption of a specific file in your Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package, either that or you may not have the package itself installed. Here's what needs to be done. First you need to uninstall any version of it if you have any version of it, then uninstall MapleRoyals. Once thats done, do this in the following order, download the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++ from https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe however be sure though to make sure you choose the correct version according to your operating system which you'd have to check by opening System Information under which the information should show beside where it says "System Type" and once you've installed that, restart your PC then re-download and re-install MapleRoyals. After that, you shouldn't experience the issue any more. Also, I'd recommend re-installing only to your main primary drive which is your C:\ drive, if you install it on an external/portable device, there is no guarantee that the external/portable drive the game is installed on will have access to all necessary systemwide resources on your PC.
Also, if you have an NVIDIA graphics card, please ensure that the following settings are set as follows : Antialiasing - FXAA: Off Background Application Max Frame Rate: Off Low Latency Mode: Ultra Max Frame Rate: Off OpenGL GDI Compatibility: Prefer Performance Power Management Mode: Prefer Maximum Performance Texture Filtering - Quality: High Performance Virtual Reality - Variable Rate Super Sampling: Adaptive OR Off, should be set to off if you don't utilize VR Headset anyway Virtual Reality Pre-Rendered Frames: Use the application setting Vulkan/OpenGL Present Method: Prefer Native This will help to ensure on the graphics settings side of things that your GPU is not causing any of the crashes you're experiencing on the part of the transmission. When these are not configured, there's possibility of memory resource overhead and headroom use-up leaving performance to suffocate.
