OMG I f***ing did it. I don't know how to describe it but this is definitely the happiest thing recently in my life lmao! Thank you for making this guide to thanks to anyone who helped me!!!!
Here's a few tips that helped people in the past: Use the setup.exe in the royals folder to find the smoothest frequency for your screen. Some people have screen hiccups every few seconds and don't even realize it. Flat screens have varying delays in signal processing and a few micro seconds delay are enough to throw you off; Use gaming mode if your screen has it, or put maple on a USB stick and try playing on other PCs or laptops. Assign jump to a logical button. Mine is on F, because my keyboard setup is based on having my left hand in the home row. This puts jump under my index finger, which is the most agile. (some people swear by jump on Ctrl, to walk and jump with just the right hand. Freeing up the left for digging in cheetos or finding your prostate. But if you need a guide for a jumpquest you should probably not use the side of your thumb for jumping.) Hold your hands in a natural position. Wrists elevated like a pianist. Or put your mousepad with anime tiddies under it. Your fingers are most nimble in this position. And finally; you are probably right handed. Keyboards put your right hand on the arrows, while you need your best hand for the jumps! Your options to work around this are either using a controller instead of your keyboard, using a second keyboard to press the arrows with left and jump with right, or crossing your arms awkwardly to do the same, which i can't recommend. I guess some of these may sound either obvious or convoluted, but i've seen them make a big difference in the past.(Especially for my friend who got to lvl 80 without realizing you can assign potions to keyboard buttons and who had been playing with his inventory open, clicking potions wildly. Some people live awkwardly.)
Newbie here. Do I need 140 speed 120 jump to make it easier ? I am a spearman with no speed / jump boost
At jump quest map your speed and jump will always be basic (100), you cannot use any boost spd and jump to the map.
If you mean to hide at the top part of the rope, yes you still can (last done in March) My technique is to jump before you see the rocks falling (while having right timing with the fireballs) I usually need few tries to get the timing right while not falling down into the lava.
Ah your right, I jumped from the chain and got hit back to the same chain which allowed me to climb all the way up.
