Before the wipe the biggest problem of the server was the lack of high level content. Granted, this is not a huge problem yet since we are only 2 weeks into the new server but here is the suggestion anyways. Here is something that does not add any new content but will still add content. Yes. Keep reading. As you know, party quests like hpq, kpq, lpq, lmpq, and all those other pq's are pretty useless for a high leveled player in terms of exp. I propose that we change that so exp is given based on level and is not a fixed amount for all players regardless of level. A dynamic exp system like this would give high leveled players something that is worth doing other than bigfoot/anego/skeles/zak so if a player ever gets bored, they can sit back and pq with their friends or just random low-leveled players. I'm not too sure how this would work on the technical side of things but I'm going to assume that it's possible for now. The benefit of this is that it does not require any wz edits and it can make more content for the higher levels. If the above is approved, I suggest the exp changes start later levels like 100+. What I mean is, low level pq's shouldn't be a substitute for levels that have other pq's. These changes should only apply at the level where there are no more good PQ's to do exp-wise. Also, I realize this is not required yet because we only have 1-2 people who are 120+ but I think it's a good idea for a short way down the road when its back to the same old skeles, zak, bf, and anego all day except this time with 4x. 4rth job will be a lot slower this time around and if this were to be implemented, it would make it a lot more enjoyable. I like the idea, but to me this sounds very very custom. Something like this is probably hard to be done properly, but I still like the sound of it.
Sounds good, and like a really interesting idea, but it does sound like it would destroy the nostalgic part of the server. I would rather have ToT, BPQ, APQ, etc. GPQ fix pls
Well, I guess some GMS changes were actually good then Yeah more PQ's would be nice, I'm pretty sure everyone would rather have those But this is a pretty minor change on like 2-3 PQ's that will give higher leveled played more options. + it shouldn't be too hard to do based on what I know ( could be wrong though).
It's a good idea. It could (for example) be a harder version of KPQ, where the monsters are the same, but maybe are level 120 and got 50k HP each in first stage, and you'd maybe need 50 coupons for a pass instead of 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and of course the exp rewards would be different too. And nostalgia is getting old..
I really like the idea of this but i'm not sure what kinds of unintended consequences it might have. Really curious to hear other's thoughts.
