It was only a matter of time until you banned me after what I said to you, wasn't it Dasha? Anyway, I have characters I'm not willing to reveal publicly. Should I start a private conversation with you? Also, I would like to make sure that whatever evidence which has led to me ban, does follow the Guidelines for Reporting issued by Matt. Especially as I know this part is very important.
Such claims shouldn't be taken lightly. If you believe that a staff member wrongfully punishes players based on their personal antics I suggest you forward this information to the admins asap. Could you kindly list the characters you feel comfortable revealing publicly?

This whole game of "forward the information to the admins" is a complete joke. I've practically slammed in your face the fact that my first ban was wrongful and your response was basically "you should have said so in your appeal". How could I have done so when you wouldn't even tell me what I was banned for? You do what you want regardless of the facts and its hardly a secret. And on that note, does the report made against me comply with the Guidelines for Reporting? Or are you deliberately avoiding my question?
This ticket might not be the best place for me to shed light on the process behind the decision-making of the staff, however, I would like to avoid the spread of disinformation by giving some insight into how the staff goes about upholding the rules when handling reports. The staff operates publicly as a group, even though we are all individuals with different perspectives and degrees of leniency. To ensure that consistency is maintained amongst all staff members despite our different approaches, we are encouraged to discuss and vote on bans if the violation of the rules isn't straightforward. These common practices have been utilized in the reports made against Wolfinger, and it should go without saying that all the reports made by players that result in any sort of ban follow the Report Abuse Guidelines to a tee. Something that isn't brought up enough by staff is that we do our best to maintain transparency within the appeals while upholding the commitment we made to preserve the privacy of the players in the report abuse section. I can only speak from my own experience, but ever since I made a decision to volunteer my time in the ban appeals It has been a struggle to tiptoe around how much information should be revealed publicly because I genuinely would like to avoid potentially contributing to a negative atmosphere between the reporter and reported player. I admit that there were many instances where I could have served our players better and I am thankful for the constructive feedback I've received so far. As always, the staff welcomes your feedback and we will continue to hold ourselves accountable and improve on how we choose to communicate publicly as representatives of the MapleRoyals team. Not to stray away completely from the function of this ticket, you have been temporarily banned for making believable claims of ban evasion. Your claims have been reported to the staff and the temporary ban was issued by an admin after it has been reviewed by multiple staff members. Despite my belief that the reason you don't feel comfortable revealing all of your characters stems from you creating alt accounts to provoke members of our community, I won't be revealing publicly the name of the mule you have used to make these claims as I don't wish to escalate the conflict further. I would also like to touch again on the insinuations Wolfinger made that put my etiquette in question as I don't take kindly to jokes of this nature. If any one of you who's reading this has any reason to believe that a GM or any other staff member is infringing on the trust we have built with our community, these concerns should be forwarded to the server owner immediately. Given that the staff is trusted to uphold the rules and lead by example there is zero tolerance for such behavior amongst the staff team and the community we have built.
As per your suggestion, I have reached out to you via DMs. I will add that I have no recollection of committing the strange rule infraction that you accuse me of. I do wonder if the character I allegedly pretended to be the owner of, has also been banned as a result of this report issued against me? It is not my place to challenge your beliefs regarding my inclination towards maintaining the privacy of my own characters. If you have any reason to believe that I have indeed created alt accounts to provoke members of our community, I urge you to forward the proof to the admins at once. Do note, I have attempted to report such a case before, regarding the player "nonimoose", and shockingly my report was denied and deemed as "lacking evidence". Hopefully your proof will be more sufficient than 100s of lines of text, harassment in and outside of the game, names of accomplices, harassment towards a multitude of my characters, harassment of my friends, spamming hateful messages and public bashing. Thank you for your quick reply! I got your DM and provided you with the name of the alt that resulted in your temporary ban, you have made no effort to deny ownership of the character in question.
And I haven't admitted to the ownership of it either. Not to mention that you failed to provide any quote or text or frankly any proof to justify this ban. Just like I said, bans are issued on a "trust me bro" basis.
Out of sheer curiosity, how would you know that you have been accused by the reporter of pretending to own his characters if I didn't mention that to you to protect their anonymity?
What an extremely odd choice of words on your part considering there was no mention of you pretending to be another player.
The temporary ban was given to you by an admin who has shown remarkable leniency when deciding on your ban duration. For that reason, you will serve the 7-day ban duration as intended.
Whatever. All I ask is that you don't ban my friends after I give them my items. I hope you can respect that.
