Hi Guys! Eisbar here. This is my first time ever playing MapleStory. I just know this game because of LevelUp! but never tried it before. How beginner friendly is this server? What class do you recommend? What should I do xd Thanks!
if i was you id start with whatever class you would like to try. don't think about end-game too much from now because chances are you're gonna try more than one class anyway. also always go channel 1 whenever you're grinding so you have more chance to come across random people and make new friends Welcome!

+1 with Metronome just relax and enjoy the ride and don't think about end-game too much since you're new. Very beginner friendly classes would be warriors, or mages. Mages can't do bossing (level 135+) unless you are a Bishop but those are a pain to level when you start out because they're weak in comparison to other Mage classes (but at level 120 4th job all mages gain access to a very useful attack skill you can spam.) I started out with a Bishop first (cleric level 30 job advancement) but my first attacker was a DK (spearman level 30 job advancement) it had a bit of a learning curve, and a lot of dying because of trial and error (there's a skill where you do a ton of damage as long as you are under 15k health at all times) but I really would recommend starting out with a warrior first as they're the most forgiving class to try out on. Just make sure you keep 40 base DEX and pump everything else into STR. You will make up for your accuracy (missing a lot of higher level monsters) when you can afford to get a Zakum Helm, and maple weapons that also give accuracy too. There are potions you can buy to increase your accuracy, and I actually have 11 DEX 60% scrolls stashed away somewhere on one of my characters, I could try making you a DEX bathrobe for level 20. Just let me know what gender so I can buy the right bathrobe if you decide to try out the warrior class!
