The very first thing you said in this post was that the comments from the community were "disgusting"...you don't think that's attacking the community? Your signature is literally about only RWT and you say it has nothing to do with RWT? Also this post is expressly about RWT ban process. I didn't skim, perhaps you did. Then you proceed to ignore everything I've said while just whining away about new things. You are not owning anything you've said, either intentionally or through your own lack of self awareness/focus/intelligence. But the rest of us can scroll up and read what you've said. Yet you still aren't listening and I'm getting tired of repeating myself. This thread isn't about RWT in general, its about banning players who staff can see haven't done anything wrong. You wrote your entire initial post without even stating your own personal opinion on the matter, you stated the "rules are the rules", and "it can be improved", "if you don't like it play somewhere else." In terms of substance its vague and doesn't help. The "attack" on the community were from select people who instead of giving their thoughts, slandered me because of my temp ban, which you have also done with your last statement. If you think this thread makes me a villain so be it, get off your knees.
Reading Gwuap case, it seems to me that the staff is being unfair here. How could he give a story to match the evidence if he does not even remember it? If the log is perfect why cant the staff answer him when he ask what item he received in return instead of repeating the same question? Did he give Bcoin for free? did he bought something? what does the log says?
Why are you asking me? I’m not an Admin I don’t have access to the logs. There are only two people who do have access to the logs, which is why we have to say “stay put and please wait for an Admin.” Do you think we enjoy giving such responses on Ban Appeals? Because I can tell you right now I don’t. We wait for the Admins response(s) too. I don’t know why it wasn’t asked because I don’t have access to that information, nor am I Tim, and as I said before in other threads like this (Master link: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/sho...en-a-second-chance.203910/page-7#post-1218615) people can and do lie quite a lot in their Ban Appeals. I’m not saying that’s 100% the case and what happened with that particular Ban Appeal, but do keep in mind you guys unfortunately don’t see the full picture like Staff can (GMs, Devs, and CMs to a degree, Admins the full picture) which can lead to some Appeals looking unfair, unjustified, etc. Yes there are some genuine Ban Appeals to which we do our best and ask for double/triple checks to make sure they are absolutely innocent/proof lines up/etc. but that's not what I want to focus on solely for this thread, as I've already spoke briefly on innocent players during the other thread. To be quite honest with you, we can’t really reveal all of that evidence upfront because then those who do engage in RWT will be able to learn from it and try to avoid it better for next time. I don’t know why Tim chose to not talk about it more with that person, maybe there is more to the story than we all know. I trust his judgement because he has been doing this for a very long time and albeit there has been some mistakes made in the past it just goes to show you that they do double check Appeals and evidence for them. We don’t have access to verify and double check ourselves so we have to rely on both Admin’s judgements for these types of cases. I’m done responding to anything in this thread because if you guys are still saying “well it shouldn’t have happened PERIOD” even when it was originally said in this thread that Staff can make mistakes too, and myself trying to provide an example of where some of the mistake(s) can happen, then I have nothing else to add. I tried being as upfront and as honest as I can, but you need to realize there is much more to the story than you would think, and there is probably a reason why Tim answered the way he did to keep our methods out of our very public Ban Appeals which are viewed by people who partake in those events. People lie, and they do it quite a lot in the Ban Appeals to garner sympathy from people like you in the Community. Edits: I apologize for the small edits I’m on mobile right now.
Just, people.. don't make Aqwrd the villain here. He has at heart fairness and justice, and this alone is commendable. He may be right to say that people got banned unjustly, or he may be wrong, not seeing the whole picture. But I mean, how could he? Only the Admins can see the whole picture. And for good reasons. Unfortunately all we can do is trust the judgement and the resources that Admins have. Maybe Aqwrd got angry for the wrong reasons, and he may be utterly wrong. But if you go and paint him as a bad person or player, or say he's against the community, you couldn't be further from the truth!
It makes no sense for GM to ban a legitimate player like Zizhao if they have complete transaction details, and in fact, if Zizhao forgets the transaction details himself, he could face a ruthless permanent ban, RIP.
oh my god, this is scary, what would happen if I buy a heavy item, trade with legitimate mesos, but then I'm expelled for not knowing who is RTW and who isn't, does anyone know the answer? There should be a white list of highly recognized players in which items can be purchased cleanly, and those who want to apply should report how they have created those items!
