People have been asking me whenever I smega for an HTP buyer if soloing HT frequently is even profitable versus the amount of effort it takes. Here is a sample size of 31 solo HTs to see if it is profitable to your standards. Each run takes around (assuming it is a smooth run): 6-7 Gelts/apples 25-30 Stoppers 4-5 Peppermints/Gizers 1k pots spread around 5 characters. Spoiler: Excel Sheet Spoiler: All Solo HT drops in order (Missing like 2-3 screenshots)
Its profitable but would anyone else wanna solo it if it took them 2 hrs while duo attacking + muling? The thought of doing it is mentally draining imo but the amount of work you put into each run is impressive
So my party set-up is: uglee (auf helm'd 200 NL) chadeol (200 NL as sed) 4k hp bs crash bloodwashed SE I use a PC and a laptop to duo attack while using a tiny keyboard on my laptop. Having a 2nd device allows for me to bs/cr mule with ease since it frees up more space for my hands to move around. I also rotate my attack gears with my guildies attack gears too since we play at opposite times, so it's quite convenient to pass it around for us to both duo attack. In terms of what order for HT, I do wabc while staying on the left side the whole run, which is why I advertise that it's a 2 hour afk run, since you'll be staying afk on top of the crystal the whole entire run. I may get hate for saying this but I think NL is the superior class (unless you own 6 shadowers) because of the fact that you can attack head C from the left side and so you won't have to ever need ACPs until you start attacking right arm last. Tips that I can give is to utilize multi-client attacking as much as you can because multiple attackers > attack gears by a lot. Also utilizing attackers that are easy to multi-control will be beneficial, such as warriors for the stance, NLs and shads for their high avoidability, buccs for their constant invincibility frames, etc. The less you get knocked back, the more DPS you will be utilizing. Another tip is to utilize the three macro skills that the game gives you so that you can constantly be hashing out DPS while you're muling. Also mastering how to juggle BS out of party so that you can dispel legs and tail and other bodies easier will significantly reduce your time by a lot (DPing the def buff actually makes such a significant difference in time, just as long as you're utilizing triple throw macro while you're muling). Overall, soloing HT frequently is definitely not an easy task, as Mr. NANI1 pointed out and it takes an immense amount of preparation to get here, but it is very much rewarding when you put a solo mw/gen in your shop. To me, this beats hexa-mage farming by a landslide, and there are so many barriers to entry that there isn't much competition to it, aside from the competition from regular HT parties selling books.
