Hello I did some experiments in the "Search for the Elixir of Life" Quest. People who need more HP after HP washing, or didn't wash do this quest daily. I was so curious about the appearance rate of the quests. Because some quest in 10 quests are so easy to farm, but some quest in 10 quests are too hard to farm or take much time. Even if you don't want to do a random quest, you know that if you don't do it, you can't go on to the next one. And I also wanted to know if the probability of each reward appearing is really random or if it depends on what probability it is. All this data is just by my experience, and NOT SURE exactly. 1. Quest Appear Rate I Cleared the quest 43 times, starting at 08/01/2022. And this character started this quest for the first time. When I cleared this quest 10 times, ALL QUEST APPEAR RATE WAS 10% SAME. And when I cleared this quest 20 times, ALL QUEST APPEAR RATE WAS 10% SAME. And when I cleared this quest 30 times, ALL QUEST APPEAR RATE WAS 10% SAME. And when I cleared this quest 40 times, ALL QUEST APPEAR RATE WAS 10% SAME. Can you expect the conclusion? Yes, In my experience, it means that quests can only reappear after all ten quests appear. " Rotation of the questline " If you was at like this situation, you may thought that quests are random because two quests gap are too narrow. But if you check quest appearance rate from the first time, I STRONGLY BELIEVE YOU CAN GET SAME SITUATION. 2. Reward Rate This is just statistical results by 43 quest clear. So I don't think this data will equate to real probabilities. But if i do this quest till i get 30k HP, Wouldn't the data be meaningful by then? To be sure, we thought until now that the 20, 30, 40, and 50 rewards appear randomly in 25%, But in fact the average is usually above 35, as 40 is more likely to appear than 20. ( just my thought ) If you perform the quest a few hundred times, it seems to converge to the actual expected value around that time.
