Congratz to the new GMs, and finally Von Leon is coming.
Maybe I will finally start playing again and not only afk KEKW

 

Excited for VL boss raid hopefully party play and all the jobs will be included in their own way and not discriminated

thanks to Royals team for deliver and maintain this game service to us for free despite dealing with huge obstacles(rwtrs,hackers,tos breaks,GM abuse and what not) all this years without give up

I like the stacking + increased crit for Concentration. Any other buffs are just extra I'll take any time.

As a MM main, I agree with all these changes.

I am not asking for MM to be the next "dmg-carry," but at least not let us drag our teammates down by having slow att + highly unstable dmg output at 4th job.

 

I am very interested to follow the class changes. especcially how you're going to handle it.
This game has been solved decades ago and has never been balanced. Classic WoW has faced a simular issue. Ok, everyone was desperate for Tanks. But a druid....?
All MMO's need change and new challenges for their end-game players. If they fail to deliver their Active player base will just bleed dry.

Anyway, it's going to be a hard pill to swallow for many since this is a nostalgia server.
Again to refer to WoW Classic, nobody wanted any changes. But do you really want to exclude all Warlocks from end-game content just because back in the 2000's the technology could not handle more than 16 debuffs per object? Or would it be ok to up that limit to whatever? Then also Fire Mages can actually use their Talents to proc a DoT.

Any class change will be received with mixed feelings. Some dream of having an overpowered 30k HP NL, it's their goal that they work for. Some will just never play any nostalgia server or give up fast because they want to play a Crossbowman. Some like me, from a time pre-4rth job, enjoy the DK. I'll do some Zakum, do some 999 grind quests and will probably have sky-skies that cost more than 1b. I'll take another 1-year break or smack some Orange Mushroom on Maple Island for a while. I'll be back for some nostalgia at some point.

In my opinion. Small buffs such as more mastery as done before. And changes you propose for Snipe and Piercing Arrow for Crossbowman. I would consider healthy for the game. Allthough, for me, I don't care if NL keep their original S+ tier spot or not. Before, an attempt was made the nerf the Avoid from LUK. That felt really bad. My Level 58 Islander is LUK build and I was considering spending 180 APR or quitting at that point.

Nonetheless, no changes are a certain death to any MMO. Hopefully it'll be a healthy discussion. After all, whatever your opinions or feelings are, we can all agree that we rather have a bad server than a dead server.

 

Can you check the source code on Chaos Scrolls and skill books. Those have never seemed right to me

Q for the Q&A:

Staff previously answered they were open to reverse/timeless equips. What's going with them? Can we expect them within our future? How about other alternatives to equips better than the dragon set such as the Von Leon equip set from post big bang?

Additional question: what is staff's proccess for prioritizing content? For example why was Von Leon prioritized over something that-'s been waited on for much longer like Pink Bean?

Last question: what are staff's thoughts on the Alien/VIP/Unwelcomed Guest sets? A tradeable 127 statless set? This could be potential end game gear (I believe they were some best in slots back in GMS)
