I like and dislike lhc at the same time;
I like the fact that it brings people together
and i dislike the fact that its way too superior exp and makes every other training place useless and dead.

 

I'm fairly new to this server so I'm not an expert on the nostalgia game nor do I remember much of pre-bb ms. However, in my opinion, the thing that ruined maple was the over powering of new classes every update leading to more isolated training, not where you train. Also, as nostalgic as this server is. It isn't the GMS v.62 server and the economy is much different with the abundance of NX for gachapon. The reason I recently started playing this server was for the minimalistic classes and the need for parties like old ms was. Adding something end game that increases the desire to party up and communicate has no effect on nostalgia. And if you are really that against it, you can always just not train there.

 

It wouldn't be superior, and it wouldn't make every other training place useless and dead. Nobody would want that. They wouldn't implement such a thing. LHC would be balanced and nerfed to work around that issue.

 

Look no one complains about the set path. You go Cpq, you go Lmpq, you go WS or Himes, you go HH, you go BF you go Zrun many options to level. But the point of the matter is from level 120-140 there is a gap for many attackers. LHC is nothing more, then a Cpq or the Lmpq. The argument against the LHC is that it will Skew the ratio of exp and makes the game unfair? How many level 50
s are there as opposed to people in the 4th job. the people arguing against LHC are nothing more than conservative republicans who are afraid of change threatening whatever position they so dearly hold in this server of Royals. The LHC its a training grounds with a lvl requirement. Just like Zak, Just like Horntail. No one complains that the other two are "unfair" do they now?

Great so let's make LHC be lvl 180-200 hahaha.

 

I'd be cool with 140+. If it's 180 then gg I quit.

 

After thinking about this.. Would be awesome to have lhc in this server, great nostalgia. Love dat place.

 

I'd love it if this were implemented. Would probably motivate me to level just so I could reach the lev req for it on my warrior. But then again, things on Royals take forever to get implemented. Remember the Skill Table Update that was mentioned about a year ago? Still hasn't been implemented. If the staff agreed to making this, it'd prob be like 2 years before we actually saw it lol. Just saying

I would love it. It'd force people to party for better EXP (if balanced right). New training ground besides ToT/Bigfoot for a class that isn't Mage. No one who isn't a Mage enjoys grinding at Skeles. Unless you have a nice Bishop, which is pretty rare now. Even with SI it's hard to find a duo party at Skeles. The bottom/middle platform (depending on which map; bottom for aligators and middle for bears[?]) at LHC has enough mobs to solo/party in post-BB as well. The only thing holding me back about this is how hard the balancing will be. Bishops won't be able to sell leech there, it could easily become a useless map if balanced even slightly wrong, etc.

You use buffs and take specific platforms. So yeah, WS but with a duo/trio on each mob train.

Same here. Best moments of post-BB in my opinion was the EXP curve, crafting, events, LHC and Evolution Lab. That's just me, though.

 

Also I know a lot of people are against the idea of this being a 140-200 training spot, but I'm all for that. As of right now, non-bishops either have to grind for shit xp, or kill BF, Anego, etc. This would be an alternative to killing those bosses all day for exp. After all the BFs and Anegos are wiped out, people could head to LHC to train. Sounds good in my opinion.

So in other words it wouldn't be the only way to train. You could go boss for xp, and then head to LHC to continue training at a decent rate once the bosses are all wiped out. Or if you just don't like bossing you could train at LHC only.

 

I'm kind of on the fence about this because I understand it'll require massive rebalancing, etc., but as a NL with equipment that doesn't match my peers' (gg WA 68 claw), my clear speed on bosses really isn't great. Which means that for every spawn of Anego, I'm only able to get one of them. Aside from Anego and Krexel, I really don't have anywhere else to go for good EXP.

 

@Saxa - even with good equips, and a duo partner, I still only manage to get 2 anegos at spawn, max. Bigfoot is about the same, only managing 2-5 depending on what map I start at. I know the feeling of being on the fence! I much prefer bossing to grinding for exp, but after zak and krexel timers are up, and no bigfoot , anego or crow are up... We're kinda lost. ToT is great, but it's so repetitive and doesnt really encourage full out parties. It's always a duo.

 

@Sila Yeah! On one hand I don't want to lose the pre-BB experience, would love the party atmosphere (think of the skype calls, dear god I miss the skype calls) and I would hate for it to be even slightly bugged meaning people will complain in hordes despite whomever developed it (@Karven, presumably, if he's still on board with us) having tried so hard.

 

As long as it doesn't beat current training rates, I don't care. I don't do any real grinding and I've done pretty well for myself without too much effort already.
