    We are aware that some users are experiencing an increase in crashing issues since the release of Update 82. The issue seems to mostly be affecting Boss runs and highly populated maps. We believe we have now identified the issue and would like to gather some feedback of the potential fix

    If you have been experiencing client crashing issues, then it would be very helpful if you could download the following ijl15.dll file and replace the old one in your MapleRoyals folder.

    Just tried snowman, didn't d/c the entire time and memory was < 500 MB. Used to d/c at least 3 times.

    Running big client on Windows 10

    My Bucc survived 2x runs of Krex without dc (reclienting on 2x other runs) and my Paladin survived 4x runs of Krex without dc. This might be it... It's cwk time :VLsad:

    Am I supposed to move this file into the royals folder or does it just somehow work? I'm not very tech savy

    yeah move the file to the royals folder. It will substitute the old file


    Worked for me at snowman. Game stable all the time, didn't go over 415 MB.

    survived 2x krex run just now, didnt reclient, no ui bug. im back in fm clicking everything and i seem to be okay!! guess i didnt have to buy that laptop...LOL oh well thanks for (possibly) finding the fix!

    Should be on the new released ijl15 1/2/2023
    I lasted longer than I ever did.
    Around 45% my chat logs started bugging out and disappearing. This used to also happen before. If you look @ my two clients, you can see multiple lines on first client not in the chatbox compared to 2nd client
    CR mule dc around 30%
    Main attacker d/c at 0.0% opening Equip UI to drop HTP
    660.2 MB should be the HT client memory

    works for me

    * macbook crossover memory usage, so -100mb from below values for base OS/windows value.

    snowman before:
    client goes up to 2.x~3.xgb, potentially dc, huge lag on ch1

    snowman now:
    client went up to 8xx mb, no dc, lesser lag on ch1

    Works well, havent dc-ed at snowman. Memory remained below 450 MB.

    Thanks for the replies so far, glad to see there has been an improvement. We will look to push the changes in an upcoming patch soon.

    Shame that you are still crashing after a while, I would be curious whether wz files might be a better option over .img now. The reason I say this is because, although not exactly a real-world test, but I have been sitting in a map with a bunch of different bosses for over 12 hours now with no crashes or graphical issues. Previously, and especially with Von Leon, I would encounter graphical issues after a while. However, this seems to no longer seems to be the case for me on .wz files. I noticed that my memory usage would spike to around 900MB in this scenario, but strangely after a couple of hours dropped down to 300MB and has been stable around there ever since.

    Edit: Ah, it looks like the clients in the screenshots you provided are not using the correct ijl15.dll, the one with the fix would have a client window date of Dec 21. 2022, whereas yours are showing Dec 16 2022.

    Finished 2x runs of Cwkpq without needing to RC. I'm happy now :VLowo: Now I can go do VL soon

    I got informed at by my guildies for using the outdated ones, somehow it didn't update my client so I did a fresh redownl

    I downloaded it despite not facing crashing issues. Upon logging in, I crashed immediately after several map transitions, like taxi or portal. My account also got stuck after a few dcs ("this is an ID that is already logged in"). 0/10, was experimental for a reason

    windows 10, windowed mode, wz client

    edit: dc issues persist (though not to the same extreme degree) after reinstalling with the old setup. -1/10 to me this was pure poison
