Me and a buddy just joined the server in a sudden nostalgia crisis. If you have any leads and tips as to what we should know or where we should head, let us know! Glad to be here! - QcNickola - QcTrooper
Welcome to the server! My best advice is to enjoy the game as you remember it. Try to do the nostalgic content, what nostalgic content is varies for all, but for me it was Kerning PQ and Ludi PQ. Enjoy the game like you did as a child. You should both definitely read the rules of the server. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/mapleroyals-game-terms-conditions.86769/ The most important thing to note (knowing that you are two friends) is to NOT share accounts, and if you are going to meet in person and play together, notify the staff of it. Vote separately, don’t use each other’s wifi and computers, make sure that it is clear that you are two people. Now to some more game-related tips/information, these tips will be relevant if you are planning on playing for a while, and don’t want to be disappointed by some earlier “mistakes” that makes you miss out on content, my first advice should still be top priority but the next ones should help you progress faster. 1. HP-washing If you are making an assassin, bowman or pirate you will not have enough HP for end game bosses unless you HP-wash. HP-washing in short requires having INT on your character, I recommend reading a guide on it if you wish to make any of the above mentioned classes. (There are ways around it, HP-quests, but they can be tedious and you can only do it once a day). 2. Mages(bishops) make most of the mesos There are many ways to make mesos, but the reliant way of making mesos is with a mage. Farming monsters and selling the equips, and if you have a bishop selling leech, are in my eyes the two easiest and most reliable ways of making mesos. I started writing down way too detailed information now, I will keep it to these points and summarize my advice based on them. Make a character of the class you enjoy, but be prepared for HP-problems. Make a warrior if you want to avoid HP problems, I still recommend washing them a little bit, it doesn’t require a lot. Make a mage if you want to make mesos, bishop preferably to sell leech. Since you are two friends starting at the same time there was recently a question asked about best classes to play together for beginners, you should definitely read the thread. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/which-duo-class-to-play.214180/#post-1277010 Hope this gets you started off well, and be sure to ask questions if you have any, the community and I will gladly assist. most importantly, happy mapling
