Hi guys I recently just started Royals again and decided to make NL. Been reading a lot of different guides and still don’t really understand how I should wash. I know I need to be putting points into INT and that’s about it… . Sorry for being an noob. Any help would be appreciated. I am currently leeching with my bishop. Maybe aiming for around 20k hp. Current level: 43 Str:4 Dex: 25 Int: 202 (159+43) Luk: 54 (42+12) HP: 1384 MP: 1086
I am not able to explain it better than the guides have. I personally prefer this one by a long shot https://royals.ms/forum/threads/fully-revised-hp-washing-guide.8286/ There are many calculators out there on what is the most optimal base mana, with how many mp-washing for the least amount of apr used. My educated guess is that for 20k HP on NL you'd need at least 200 BASE INT, likely a lot more, AND do a significant amount of mp-washing. Also what level are you planning to wash your character? 135? 155? 175? Iirc some guide calculated that if you keep 150 base INT and mp-wash 13 levels (aka 65x mp washing). Then wash at level 155. With Hyper Body from DK you can survive HT on 1 HP. If you wanted without HB, you needed to wash at level 175 I am not sure the exact HP values this lead to, for sure it was less than 20k. Might be wrong on this. I would personally look at it from another angle. How much meso can you afford to spend on apr? For how long are you willing to not play that character? Level 135? 155? 175? Resetting 200 base int to 4 base int will cost you roughly 1.6-1.7b. then you still have not done any hp or mp-washing. If you do not enjoy throwing meso down the drain. Settle for however long you can endure it to not play the game. For my BM with 200 Base INT, I settled for 9k hp and 9k mp at level 150. I just wanted to play. I calced that I had already spend ~5b on apr to reach that. I wanted 18k hp, I can go like 16k now, wich should be more than enough to do 99% of all content very comfortably. Yes, BM is slightly more expensive, like 1/8th more i think. You can get about 2k hp from gear. Another 500 from a buyable quest chain. You can keep your 30 int zhelm and possibly a HTP without any issues for a while after washing, netting you some more mp over the mid-game levels when a zak run is still like 15% exp and absolutely nobody cares if it takes 15 seconds longer because you have some int gear. And there is still always HP-Questing that you can endure for that ~2k you are missing out on if you really want it. tl;dr If you really want to know, you need to do the maths. I am very sure 200 Base INT is not enough if you want to play your character before level 155 and you will need to do ALOT of MP-Washing for that. You will need to do mp-washing, regardless of hp-goals, be it 9k. 12k or 20k hp. I have no idea how many times you need with how many int. You'd need to math that. Unless you want an absurd amount of hp there is no need to really go all out tryhard and worry about it too much. 20k is about the treshhold for absurd amount of HP for a ranged character. I do really do not recommend that for a new or returning player. It's a game, the main goal is having fun. 99% of all people do not think leeching and HP washing is fun. You don't "need" to HP-Wash anymore, what you have now is fine for 99.99% of all content. You will not get 20k HP, but that 0.01% you are missing out on is very far away and you can hp-quest the bit you are missing out on.
This was posted by Fuzzything44 at another post for Archers. 1 APR on NL gives 18 HP 1 APR on Archer gives 16 HP So you'd need slightly less mp for a NL than listed here, nonetheless it gives you a good indicator what you'd be looking for when washing your NL.
