Cecelia's Earrings from APQ are a purple version of the level 80 Metal Heart Earrings I used to wear back in the day, so they were a perfect match for my nostalgic purple Magician gear. I'd been wearing 17tma and then 24tma for some time, and decided to give 40tma a shot, and since I specifically wanted Cecelia's Earrings, I had to scroll them myself. I'm not very well-funded so this seemed very daunting. Ended up doing only a few days of APQ and sourcing over 400 pairs of earrings from others, some freely dropped, others for 200k–300k each. Thanks to @fuzzything44 for teaching me the ropes of APQ and for supplying a handful of those earrings.

430 clean pairs of Cecelia's Earrings.
430 10% scrolls, half of which were farmed at Klocks (and I still have almost a whole stack of them left).
67 30% scrolls, some of which actually served as dummy scrolls on earrings with at least 1 fail.
Boomed a bunch of overalls, then dummy 30%'d one last batch of earrings.
One last 30% + one WS later...




I was so sure that I'd either 1) WS fail once before passing, or 2) WS boom it. Nope, the game seems to want to gaslight me that dummy scrolling is real. Of the last batch of dummy 30% scrolls, half of them passed, including this WS'd one. Those overalls died for this fr fr.

Excluding the WS, the total cost of the clean earrings, 10% and 30% scrolls came up to right about 2b. I didn't need to drop 3–4b on a 40tma Single Earring I would've hated anyway.

That's not even all:



I still have one more 32tma 1 slot Cecelia's Earrings! (The rest you see are 24, 16 and 8 with any number of fails.) IOW, 430 clean pairs of earrings managed to yield two 32/1s (which were produced from the first batch of dummy earring scrolls). That's impressive given the 1 in 370 chance of yielding a single 32/1, and 1 in 1234 chance of completing a 40tma pair of earrings. Anyway I'm probably gonna event scroll this one, finish all the rest, and sell them off. And then that 2b cost will be reduced to almost nothing.

I still wear a zhelm and alternative gear to be able to 1hit skeles, but one of my next goals is to scroll a 24+int 7luk Purple Galaxy so I can stop depending on a zhelm which hides my earrings (my current Purple Galaxy is 24int 2luk). Again this is all to stick as closely to my nostalgic gear as possible.

Why Cecelia's Earrings?
You could just buy 430 single earrings from the npc in hene, easier to sell and can used as hp wash gear since its lvl 15 earring.

Scrolled this in 31 White Scrolls from Clean! (14 /8)

 

Every time when I hope the scrolls will work, it fuck me up; when I given up myself and is ready to quit for months, it lights me up.
This feels like playing Pokemon back in the days when you want certain Pokemon real bad, you never run into them, but when you want something else, suddenly they jump out from no where.

First Rose quest, didn't know about the nets and got pretty tilted. (Before anyone says "tHe NpC tElLs YoU", the nets are at the BOTTOM of the store npc list, not at the top where it should be)
Then this happened, suddenly everything is ok.

 

Probably won't be booming HP scrolls for a while, after the sword earrings I found some motivation to try for more OP HP Gear. This collection has been in the making for a long long time, and was fully self scrolled
